Maybelline Blends Beauty And Storytelling With Instant Eraser At The Heart Of The Microdrama

Maybelline describes the project as a fresh, festive way to merge beauty with entertainment. By weaving Instant Eraser naturally into the narrative, the brand brings the cult-favorite concealer into the spotlight without disrupting the story’s charm or chemistry between the reunited leads.

The Instant Eraser formula is known for its brightening, hydrating texture, medium-to-full buildable coverage, and skin-like finish, qualities that made it the perfect product tie-in for a story literally themed around “what we choose to conceal.” The concealer is crease-resistant, non-comedogenic, and lasts up to 12 hours, making it one of the brand’s most viral multitasking favorites.

Fans of Chabert and Milligan’s last holiday project have been loudly celebrating the unexpected reunion. Lacey Chabert Says The Project Is A 'Wink' To The Holiday Genre

For Lacey Chabert, returning to holiday storytelling felt as natural as slipping into a cozy Christmas sweater. “Everyone knows I love telling holiday stories so much, it's such a huge part of my life,” the actress told PEOPLE. “This is a fun little wink to the genre. It's light and whimsical, and I love that it has a cheeky twist.”

Reuniting with Dustin Milligan for the microdrama was an easy “yes” for Chabert, especially since the project centers around Maybelline’s Instant Eraser Concealer, a product she says she’s “used for years.”

“The chance to collaborate on a product that I actually love and then to do that with Dustin was really just a dream,” she shared. Their reunion felt extra special coming off their hit film Hot Frosty. “I had such a lovely time with him on 'Hot Frosty' last year, and this was such a fun way to tell a holiday story in a new format and to get to be together for a day on set.”

Milligan also weighed in, telling PEOPLE, "You don't need me to say the words 'Queen of Christmas,' but I will, and I did.' Any opportunity where you get to reunite with somebody that you enjoyed working with and actually had an element of joy in the work process, it's so rare. But then to have that paired with actually doing something and telling a story wherein you get to play with some of the narrative expectations to then land on that twist at the end, to me personally, just selfishly, that brings me even more joy."
