Actor Daniel Mickelson Dies At 23, Celebs Mourn His Loss

Actor Daniel Mickelson has died at 23. According to Just Jared, the rising star appeared in the 2019 TV series Mani and The Killer Clown Meets the Candy Man, an indie horror film released in the same year. His younger sister, Meredith, who is a model, shared the heartbreaking news on her Instagram page on Monday, July 5.

Daniel passed away on the Fourth of July and his celeb friends paid tribute to the late actor on social media. His cause of death remains unknown.

Meredith posted a photo on Instagram featuring herself and Daniel when they were kids at the beach.

“my heart is shattered & to write this feels so wrong and i don’t even know what to say. Yesterday i lost my brother, best friend & the other half of my heart. There wasn’t a person i loved more on this earth. theres no words that can do him justice that i could write. to know him was to love him. he was the happiest brightest smiley most sunshine human to exist and I’m so happy God chose me to be his sister for his whole amazing life," she captioned.

Lisa Rinna's daughter, Delilah Belle Hamlin also posted a touching tribute on the social media platform.

"I'm completely heartbroken. I haven’t stopped crying since I’ve found out. Daniel Mickelson I loved you more than you know. You were my best friend. At one point we wouldn’t go a day without FaceTiming at least 10 times while I was in New York and you in college," she wrote. "At one point in my life I was so in love with you but never got the chance to tell you that because the timing was never right. Thank you for being my Dan when I needed you most. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face. Thank you for always showing me love and nothing less. I will love you forever. A part of me won’t ever be the same. I miss you Dan. I love you. I’m proud of you. Rest easy."

Meanwhile, Delilah's sister, Amelia commented on the post with a heartfelt message to Daniel.

"i love you so much daniel. forever and ever and ever and ever and ever. i feel lonely without you on this earth. we love you. we miss you. we’re broken without you," she wrote.

Supermodel Kaia Gerber also paid tribute to the late star through her Instagram stories.

"I remember that time we sat on the couch and spent the whole day coming up with our own secret language that we continued to speak every time we saw each other,” she recalled. “I wish we could go back there. I wish we were still talking in sentences that probably annoyed everyone else but made us crack up every time. I wish I was still sitting on my bathroom floor FaceTiming you, because that was the only place I had wifi and I never wanted to miss a call from you. thank you for being the reason for so much laughter and happiness in the world. it won’t be the same without you here. I love you Daniel."

In a report by Express, Patrick Schwarzenegger, who is the son of movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger, paid his respects to Daniel's family. Apparently, he heard the news and saw Meredith's post, commenting, "praying for you."

Another California native and from a famous family, model Josie Canseco also took to her account and posted a photo of herself with Daniel as an Instagram story. She added a note that said, "Love u forever. Rest in paradise."
