Ryan Seacrest's attempt to dispel fans' concerns about his appearance fell short, with many still begging him to eat.
Social media users became worried about the TV personality after he shared a carousel of images debuting a much thinner physique. Naturally, many suspected he had joined other celebrities in using Ozempic to lose weight.
Ryan Seacrest's latest post seemed to be his response to the weight loss speculations, as he flaunts his ripped muscles.
Ryan Seacrest Shows Off His Bulging Muscles At The Gym

The "Wheel of Fortune" host updated his Instagram page with a short video of his session at the gym. In the clip, Seacrest worked on his upper body by doing biceps curls with two dumbbells. The movement gave viewers a close-up look at his ripped, bulging muscles.
Compared to the thinner appearance he showcased in July, Seacrest looked much healthier and toned. He joked about his muscular physique in the post's caption, writing, "The trick is to wear a t-shirt two sizes too small."
Although he looked fit, some fans were still unhappy about his appearance. These critics doubled down on the Ozempic speculations, warning Seacrest to stop using the weight loss drug before it completely altered his facial features.

The comments criticizing Seacrest's appearance primarily focused on his face, as many believed he had the infamous Ozempic face. "Why does he look 80?" a fan wondered, with another asking, "What happened to Ryan's face?"
A third wondered why Seacrest's cheeks were sunken, while an IG user begged him to eat a hamburger. The concerned comments continued with someone imploring him to "Eat more carbs!" while another requested that he "lay off the Ozempic."
"Honey, you need to stop. You're looking emaciated," a fan added. "Biceps are great, but you are getting too thin. Take care of yourself," a worried IG user wrote. On the other hand, some supporters urged Seacrest to keep exercising and gain more muscle.
The Ozempic Speculations Began In July

The concerns about Seacrest's appearance began in July after he dropped a carousel of images on Instagram. The Blast covered the story, reporting that he had shared nine slides detailing various moments from cooking in the kitchen to feeding his dog.
The first and last pictures had fans doing a double-take because Seacrest looked frail and significantly thinner. The apparent weight loss had some thinking he looked older than a man in his fifties because his face lacked the plumpness they were used to.
"You are looking too thin. Sometimes being too thin can age a person," one of the comments read. Many used words like "frail," "gaunt," and "too skinny" to describe Seacrest, and begged him to stop using Ozempic and start eating again.

Seacrest has been vocal about his relationship with food and his desire to stay fit. In a 2022 interview, he explained that he had to change his eating habits because of body image issues stemming from a childhood trauma.
He confessed that he got teased endlessly for his weight as a child and still struggled with overcoming the pain of his past. Last year, while speaking to his sister Meredith Seacrest on Entertainment Tonight, the TV host revealed he was doing everything within his power to "feel 29 again."
According to Seacrest, he was "over-exercising, eating better, over-training" to reverse some of the aging process. However, pushing his body beyond the limit meant he needed "lots of recovery, lots of muscle recovery" through treatments like cold plunging and steaming.
What Ryan Seacrest Said Following His Father's Passing

A month before his latest social media update, The Blast shared that Seacrest had broken his silence following his father's passing. He announced the news on Instagram, sharing pictures detailing his memories with the late Gary Lee Seacrest, who died at 81.
The doting son confessed that he and his family believed the patriarch was in a better place, but they were still "heartbroken" by his death. Seacrest confirmed that his father passed away peacefully, describing him as an incredible person and his best friend.
Seacrest also got emotional while addressing his father's death on his radio show, "On Air with Ryan Seacrest." He recalled his dad's final moments while fighting back tears, noting he had asked him to take care of his mother, sister, and her husband.
