Former and current "The Real Housewives of Orange County" cast members are speaking out over Meghan King's heartbreaking custody setback.
The “Say Yes to the Dress” alum divorced ex-husband Jim Edmonds in 2021, with whom she shares three children.
Since their split, the couple had agreed to co-parent, but that arrangement recently changed when King was removed as the children's primary caregiver. Now more than ever, King’s Bravo colleagues are rallying behind her.
‘RHOC’ Stars Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, And Tamra Judge Publicly Support Meghan King

A fundraiser for The Innocence Center on November 23 had Emily Simpson, Shannon Beador, and Gina Kirschenheiter in attendance, and the women openly stood by King while insisting the delicate situation should be kept private.
Simpson, who previously got candid about her son’s AFRID diagnosis, urged the public not to rush into making judgments about King, stressing she was also refraining from doing the same.
"I have a lot going on with [my son] Luke, whom I have had for six months, and I would hate for someone to judge anything going on," Simpson told US Magazine. "I don't know the circumstances. I don't know the facts of this situation, so I don't want to speculate and make a judgment."
Kirschenheiter noted that King was not open about the details of the situation on their TV show, adding that the details were taken from legal documents and no one should have had access to them for the sake of protecting the kids.
“I fully believe that we don't know what's going on in that household, and nobody should be commenting about what's going on in that household,” Kirschenheiter said, which Beador seconded.
Tamra Judge echoed a similar sentiment in a recent episode of her “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast. She said that she had spoken with King, who was "devastated," before expressing hopes that the situation would be resolved before the holidays.
Meghan King Defeated In Custody Battle With Ex Jim Edmonds

The ruling against King in the custody matter was announced last week, as The Blast reported, after an investigation by Child Protective Services was initiated over concerns raised by a school worker.
As a result of the decision, King can still see her children, but only under supervision, while Edmonds has been granted full primary care of them.
The move is not final. A court hearing is set for early next month to decide whether the decision will be permanent, though no further details have been shared yet.
Reason Behind CPS Investigation Into Meghan King Exposed

In the wake of King's recent setback, sources have shed light on the facts surrounding the CPS investigation. The Blast reported that the inquiry was allegedly set in motion after King requested that one of her twin sons take medicine that wasn't prescribed.
She asked the school nurse to administer Ritalin despite the child not having an official ADHD diagnosis, and the teacher notified the authorities.
This development adds to the string of post-divorce challenges King has faced with Edmonds, including her past accusations that he has failed to consistently pay child support.
Meghan King Laid Heavy Claims Against Jim Edmonds

King made the claims two years ago, in an exchange with a fan on her Instagram story as she spoke about the struggles of being a single mom.
She lamented that she often has to budget for nannies, especially when traveling. Her post drew attention, as one of her followers blasted her for making poor financial choices by marrying Cuffe Biden Owens in 2021 and losing support from Edmonds.
King quickly fired back, saying she doesn't get alimony and that the former baseball player only pays child support when he feels like it.
What Has Meghan King Said Since Losing the Custody Battle?

Meanwhile, King has yet to address the custody issue. However, she made a cryptic post, which may be alluding to it.
As The Blast reported, she took to her Instagram Stories, uploading an image with the words "big fan of human rights" written in bold black letters and tagging the location Kirkwood, Missouri.
King also posted a heartfelt tribute to her daughter Aspen on her 9th birthday.
In the sweet message shared on her Stories, King gushed about her love for the little girl. She wrote, "A spectacular gift from God was born nine years ago today. That's when I learned what love is. I love you, Aspen King Edmonds. I love you to infinity."
