Viral TikToker and podcast host Bobbi Althoff is sharing some vulnerable thoughts about how recent hateful comments on her videos have made her feel.
After sharing a video of her boyfriend on TikTok, many people dropped hateful words into the comment section, and while Althoff said she wishes they didn't bother, they do.
She took to TikTok to share her raw emotions about the issue and reminded viewers that she's "human."
Bobbi Althoff Shares Emotional Video After Hateful Comments

The viral influencer started her TikTok video off by saying she hates making an emotional video like this and might regret posting it.
"I know some people feed off of saying hurtful things to get a reaction, but today, I posted a video of me and my boyfriend, and so many of the comments, every single time I post him, which we've been together for a year, but without fail, every single time I post him, all of the comments are about how I'm ran through and oh look, another one. Or he probably doesn't know how ran through she is. Just mean, mean things," she said while holding back tears.
"And if I post any video truly in general, the amount of hate comments I get, are just unreal."
Althoff said she thinks it could be because she has a lot of male followers and "they just have so much to say, they have so many mean things to say."
Bobbi Althoff Wishes The Hate Didn't Get To Her But She's 'Human'

Althoff continued her video by sharing that she wishes the comments didn't bother her, but that's just not the case.
"I'm human, and if you got this many negative things said about you every day it would get to you, too," she said. "I don't want sympathy from people. I'm saying this because I hope if you're one of the people who hate me, maybe you'll watch this and reconsider it."
She explained that she's a people pleaser and "having so many people being mean" online every day is "frustrating."
"I wish I didn't care but I've definitely stopped posting as much because all of my comments are just so mean," she continued. "People are so mean to me on the internet, and it's like, what, because they say I sleep with every guy. Literally, I do not, but you won't ever believe that."
Another part of this that really upsets Althoff is that one day her kids "will be old enough to read these comments."
"I wish people weren't so mean," she said fighting tears. "So grateful for this job, because I make a lot of money to post myself on the internet, to film videos, and it has given me and my kids a really great life. But sometimes it's like, especially harder, like on Sundays I don't have my kids, they're with their dad, and I get to sit here and I read comments and I shouldn't. It's so hurtful."
The TikToker Wants People To Understand She's Moved On From Her Ex

Althoff said she's moved on from her ex-husband, and he's moved on, too. Yet, she continues to get hateful comments about her dating.
"I'm not with my ex anymore, and he's in a happy relationship. Why can't I be in one, too? And yeah, our relationship didn't work out. Like, news flash you guys. I was 21 when I met him on Bumble and 10 months after knowing him, I was pregnant with our daughter," she shared.
"And he gave me the two best things in my life, and I will forever be grateful for that. But when I met him, I was 21, he was 30."
She said she feels "embarrassed" by all the mean comments and doesn't understand why "people are so mean." She wishes it would just stop.
The Comment Section Of The Video Is Uplifting And Empowering
Althoff's video has received more than 2.3 million views and thousands of comments. Much of the comment section is uplifting and supportive.
"The hate is so forced.. you’ve done nothing to deserve all that hate," one person wrote. Another added, "It sounds cliche, but people really are jealous."
And there's a ton more where those came from.
One viewer shared, "You shine and people love to try to take that shine away. Thank you for posting this because it’s so real." Another said, "My therapist told me that it’s not my business what other people think of me. That has helped me allow myself to grow and heal- I hope it can help you too."
Bobbi Althoff's Video Sharing Her Botox Journey Also Went Viral Quickly
Althoff is no stranger to viral videos. Another recently shared video that shares a real-life struggle also went viral with more than 1.7 million views.
In the video, Althoff shares an unfortunate experience she just had with Botox.
"I have been having bad jaw problems. I've always had jaw problems. My jaw has just always hurt," she said. "So I look up on Google a TMJ specialist, and I'm like, let me just go and get my jaw looked at by a specialist."
That specialist, a dentist, convinced her to get Botox in her jaw. The problem - she ended up getting 100 units of Botox, which cost her $1,500 and now her face is basically frozen and she's unable to smile. When she complained, the doctor told her she's just going to have to wait for the Botox to wear off, which could take around three months.
Viewers in the comment section were quite shocked about the amount of Botox she was injected with.
"I think he scammed you I’ve only heard of people getting 15-20 the most on each side but not more," one person said. Another added, "For injections ONLY go to injectors. That do it every single day multiple times a day. Not surgeons, not dentists, not PA’s. INJECTORS only. Everyone else is not trained extensively."
