Meghan Kingseems to be handling the temporary loss of her children's custody oddly well.
The "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum recently lost custody of the three children she welcomed with her second ex-husband, Jim Edmonds. She seemingly reacted to the matter with a cryptic post about human rights.
Meghan King has been married and divorced three times, first to Brad McDill from 2007 to 2011, then Jim Edmonds from 2014 until their October 2019 separation. Their divorce was finalized in 2021, the same year she married and separated from her third husband, Cuffe Biden Owens.
Meghan King Seemingly Reacts After Losing Custody Of Her Three ChildrenĀ

Less than a week after King made headlines for temporarily losing custody of her three children, she updated her Instagram Story with a cryptic message. On November 23, she dropped a picture of the phrase "big fan of human rights" written in a bold, black, playful font.
King geotagged the cryptic message about human rights, "Kirkwood, Missouri," but did not share further details. The intentions behind her post remain unclear; however, it may be linked to her ongoing child custody battle with Edmonds. The Blast recently reported that she suffered a temporary defeat in the case.
The court granted Edmonds sole physical custody of the three children following an investigation by Child Protective Services. On the other hand, King was given supervised visitation rights that would continue to hold until a hearing in December determined if the arrangement would be made permanent.
Why The Bravolebrity Lost Custody Of Her Children

According to reports, King lost custody of her three children following her decision to administer an unprescribed medication to one of her twin sons. The incident occurred at the boy's school, with King allegedly asking the school nurse to administer the drug identified as Ritalin.
The nurse refused and informed the appropriate authorities of King's attempt to administer a drug without a prescription or an official ADHD diagnosis. Based on these facts, the mother of three lost custody of her kids and was given two days a week to see them under supervision.
Despite the drama, King proudly celebrated her daughter Aspen's birthday on her Instagram Story. She shared a picture of the 9-year-old set to "Rewrite the Stars," one of the soundtracks from the hit 2017 musical "The Greatest Showman."
The TV Personality Raved About Her Love For Her Daughter

King penned a touching birthday tribute for her daughter, raving about her love for Aspen in the post's caption. She described the girl as her "favorite female to ever walk the planet," "the brightest light," and her "greatest joy."
"A spectacular gift from God was born 9 years ago today. When I learned what love is. I love you, Aspen King Edmonds. I love you to infinity," King gushed. The little girl made headlines months earlier after her mom and stepmom clashed over forceful entry allegations.
The Blast covered the story, reporting that the incident happened in May. The bodycam footage from the drama captured officers talking to King, whose emotional outburst nearly got her cuffed. She kept trying to walk away despite officers trying to talk to her, leading to a stern warning to stop or get handcuffed.
Inside The Forceful Entry Allegations Between Jim Edmonds' Ex & His Current Wife

While speaking to officers from the Frontenac Police Department, King stressed that there was no restraining order against her and accused Edmonds of emotional abuse. She claimed her ex-husband kept using his influence to boss her around and alleged she would soon have full custody of their children.
However, Edmonds' rep refuted these claims, slamming King as a perpetual liar. They alleged the former couple barely had any contact while hailing the former MLB star as "an active and present father to all his children." The former athlete welcomed more children from past relationships.
The forceful entry drama stemmed from King's alleged attempt to enter Edmonds' home after his current wife, Kortnie, noted neither he nor her daughter was present. The latter claimed King had come to drop her daughter's dress and refused to leave it at the door, as she requested, insisting on meeting Aspen.
Meghan King Accused Her Ex-Husband Of Inconsistent Child Support Payments

Following this incident, the acrimonious relationship between King and Edmonds once again made headlines in August. The Blast shared that King had accused the former athlete of inconsistent child support payments in her clap back to a critic.
The critic had slammed King for leaving Edmonds for Biden after she dropped a post detailing her challenges as a single mom without financial support. King called out the commenter in a heated response, advising them to mind their business if they didn't understand the full picture.
"I don't get alimony, my children only receive child support when their father decides he wants to pay," King wrote, indirectly slamming Edmonds. As stated, she welcomed a daughter named Aspen and two twin sons, Hart and Hayes, with the former MLB star.
