Fresh details have emerged about the private tensions between Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman leading up to their breakup.
It is believed that the former couple's differences in politics may have played a part in the split, in addition to the personal issues they faced.
Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban on September 30, and since then, they have continued to co-parent their two children.
Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban Often Found Themselves On Opposite Sides Of Heated Political Conversations

Following Keith Urban's appearance at Mar-a-Lago, additional insights into the private tensions that preceded his and Nicole Kidman's split have come to light.
A source who spoke with Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop hinted that politics may have played a real part in their split, claiming that the duo often ended up on "opposite sides of heated conversations."
Although Urban's outing at Mar-a-Lago was for a musical performance at a private party and doesn't necessarily indicate any connection to Trump, the insider believes that Kidman wouldn't have allowed herself to be in such a situation.
"That moment showed where Keith stands. Nicole would never step foot in that place, and there is Keith singing and entertaining the crowd," the source said, adding that the actress has long since shown that she tilts towards progressive and liberal-leaning causes.
Some sources have also said that the couple doesn't share similar political stances and that it ultimately grew "impossible to ignore."
Keith Urban Allegedly Hinted At Marital Strain Ahead Of Split, Lookalike Fan Claims

Despite the couple's problems, none of it became public until their marriage ended in September.
However, one of Keith Urban's lookalikes, who also happens to be a fan, claimed days ago that the singer hinted at the split a few weeks before Kidman filed for divorce.
Dale Whiteside told TMZ that he had an in-person meeting with Urban during the singer's High and Alive World Tour stop in Saskatoon, Canada, on September 15.
He said their conversation drifted toward their uncanny resemblance, during which Whiteside shared a story about a couple who once mistook him for Urban at a music festival.
According to Whiteside, the couple later realized he wasn't wearing a wedding ring and decided that meant he couldn't be Urban.
He then reportedly told the "Let It Roll" crooner that a wedding ring and tattoos were the only things that truly set them apart.
Urban replied, "Next time, it'll probably be just the tattoos," a comment that now seems to suggest he was subtly revealing that his marriage was already on shaky ground.
Nicole Kidman Isn't Dwelling On The Regrets Of Her Failed Marriage

Last month, a source close to Kidman provided an update on how the actress is dealing with the loss of her marriage.
According to the insider, the "Holland" star is "keeping it positive" rather than dwelling on regrets.
"She isn't someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason," the source added, per People Magazine.
The actress has proven this to be the case as she has made several outings at high-fashion events since the news of her divorce from Urban, donning head-turning outfits.
The Actress Is Surrounding Herself With Family And Work

As Kidman continues with this new chapter of her life, the 57-year-old is "surrounded by the two things that matter the most to her," which are "her family and her work."
"She has a great attitude and feels very grateful for her life," the insider said, adding that the actress has "several work projects coming up and is looking forward to them."
Some of the projects in the works are "Margo's Got Money Troubles" and "Scarpetta," which are both TV adaptations.
The actress will also reprise her role in the third installment of "Big Little Lies" and will appear in the sequel to 1988's "Practical Magic" with Sandra Bullock.
Nicole Kidman Believes There Is Always A Way Through Any Challenge

Weeks after news of her split went viral, Kidman also hinted that she didn't plan to remain stuck mourning the end of her marriage.
At the time, she was asked about the best part of growing older during an interview with Harper's Bazaar.
"There's something to knowing that no matter how painful, or how difficult, or how devastating something is, there is a way through," she told the publication.
The actress added, "You are going to have to feel it, and it's going to feel insurmountable at times. You're going to feel like you're broken, but if you move gently and slowly — and it can take an enormous amount of time — it does pass."
