Dorit Kemsley Slammed By Estranged Husband As Custody Impasse Rages On

The acrimonious relationship between Dorit Kemsley and her estranged husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley, continues with more allegations.

The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star and her former beau announced the end of their 9-year romance in May 2024. A year later, the TV personality moved to conclude their union legally in April 2025 when she filed for divorce.

Dorit and Paul Kemsley have since butted heads over the custody of their two children,  11-year-old son Jagger and 9-year-old daughter Phoenix. Additionally, they have clashed over Paul's past alcoholism.

Dorit name-dropped Paul during the season 15 trailer for Bravo's "RHOBH" series. A scene from the clip captured the reality TV star accusing her estranged husband of having zero relationship with their two children since their separation.

She told Mauricio Umanksy during a sit-down dinner that PK was absent from the children's lives, alleging that he hadn't asked to see or spend time with them. However, Paul called BS on her story when TMZ caught up with him in Beverly Hills on November 18.

PK flatly declared that "It's not true," implying his estranged wife had fabricated the tale for relevance on her show. Dorit's claim was also surprising, considering that she had requested sole physical and legal custody of their children when she filed for divorce in April.

After Dorit requested sole legal and physical custody of her two children, The Blast reported that Paul fired back against her demands in his response to her divorce filing. He not only asked for joint custody of their kids but also refused to pay Dorit spousal support.

Following Paul's filing, Dorit told sources that she wouldn't let the drama get to her and vowed to prioritize her children's happiness. Her insistence on full custody of her kids might stem from her comments about PK's past alcoholism.

The drama occurred in 2024 when Dorit labeled Paul "a full-blown alcoholic."The Blast shared that he shut down the horrid description during an appearance on Bravo's "Hot Mic Podcast," stressing that he was shocked his estranged wife would diminish his sobriety journey.

PK acknowledged his dark past, confessing that his alcoholism played a part in the end of his marriage to Dorit. Nonetheless, he explained that it was not "as simple as to say he was 'a fully-blown alcoholic' that's why we're separated."

According to Paul, his alcoholism was only a component in the breakdown of his marriage and not the primary cause of his separation from Dorit. He slammed his former partner for devaluing his efforts to get clean, declaring that he was "in full-blown recovery."

"I was shocked, disappointed, and upset at what Dorit had to say," Paul continued. "I'm really proud and public about my sobriety. And I'm 12 months [sober] in two weeks. I think sobriety enables me to breathe," he added, noting that he hoped to inspire others with his journey.

Five years before joining the Bravo series, Dorit met Paul for the first time at a local restaurant in New York City. Their 2011 meeting was purely coincidental, but that didn't stop them from falling for each other, with Dorit once claiming they were "inseparable."

Despite their initial chemistry, Dorit and Paul didn't have their first date until months later. They began dating, with things quickly heating up between them, leading to the birth of their son Jagger in 2014. A year later, the couple tied the knot in March 2015.

US Weekly reported that their second child, a daughter named Phoenix, was born in February 2016. That same year, Dorit joined the seventh season of "RHOBH" as the newest Housewife. At the time, she raved about PK supporting her decision, noting he was excited for their TV career.

Dorit might not have been the best person to slam Paul for his alcoholism, given her past drunken antics. In 2017, she was inebriated during a party at "RHOBH" co-star Kyle Richards' home, a moment captured on the reality TV series.

The Housewife could barely control herself, calling Camille Grammer "a stupid c-nt!" after she tried introducing her new boyfriend to the cast for the first time. PK immediately chastised Dorit for her outburst, which seemingly stemmed from her beef with Grammer.

Dorit called her co-star "a c-nt" for the second time on the show after Grammer called her out for not having empathy when her Malibu house burned down. These tense moments extended beyond Housewives, as Dorit and PK had similarly hashed out their differences in front of cameras.
