We’re told both sides are in agreement that they want to get away from each other as soon as possible, although it’s unclear why they feel this way. Up until now, there was nothing indicating this would be a nasty breakup — that except the money. As we reported, Brandon has challenged the prenuptial agreement saying the document is invalid. Kelly Clarkson And Ex-Husband At War Over Their Finances
At this point, the couple is splitting joint custody of their children, but are still arguing over the amount of support that will be paid from Kelly to Brandon.
BTW — the ex-couple is still at war over money that was supposed to be paid to Brandon’s management company, for which Kelly was a client. According to reports, Kelly claims Blackstock was a licensed talent agent at the time, and she should not have to pay the millions in fees. Brandon’s attorney responded to the claims, saying, “The labor petition conveniently ignores the fact that Kelly had her own licensed talent agency CAA at all times. While Starstruck Management Group provided talent management services on her behalf, it did so at all times that CAA was her agency of record.”
