Bezos is pouring several million into refurbishing his $90 million estate on Florida's exclusive "Billionaire Bunker" island, all to create the perfect sanctuary for his wife, Lauren Sanchez.

According to the Daily Mail, the Amazon founder has set out to undertake an aesthetic makeover for the Indian Creek Island property, filling the lawn with oaks, royal palms, and other trees.

He secured the services of a professional arborist who is overseeing the whole process to ensure that the imported trees, which include dozens of Brazilian Beauty-Leafs, imported Japanese yews, and Gumbo Limbos, arrive with their roots intact.

Bezos also introduced several bulging sculptures into the estate and fitted into it a resort-standard pickleball court.

Renovation works are also ongoing inside the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion, and it's expected that the finished look will include a sauna, spa, and hot tub, a firepit, and a poolside cabana office for the billionaire.

Its massive garage doors were also changed to industrial-strength ones at a price of $103,000.

Despite the extensive works on the waterfront property, it appears Bezos and Sanchez may only be using it temporarily until they decide to build a new one from scratch, as the businessman owns two more plots in the VIP enclave close to Miami Beach.

Back in 2023, the Blue Origin boss snapped up numbers 11 and 12 Indian Creek Island road in quick succession for a figure around $147 million. According to the Daily Mail, his ultimate plan is to demolish the neighboring properties and replace them with one mega mansion that'll also set him back several million dollars.

Some famous celebrities who have also found abode in the exclusive community include Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, Carl Icahn, Julio Iglesias, and Tom Brady.

Bezos and Sanchez tied the knot in an exclusive Venice wedding ceremony back in June. The event, which many labeled as "the wedding of the century," was graced by Hollywood's big shots, including Kim Kardashian, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Sydney Sweeney, and Usher.

The couple was all smiles as they dressed to the T for the event, with Sanchez wearing a lace Dolce & Gabbana haute couture gown, while Bezos kept it formal in a well-tailored suit with a bow tie.

They unsurprisingly didn't ask for a gift from guests; instead, they explained in a note shared with Vogue Magazine that they were making "contributions" on behalf of every guest.
