Renée Zellweger's Changing Face Addressed By Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Renée Zellweger is having her face subjected to scrutiny once again!

The aging actress's features have been changing in ways that make speculators call her out on some cosmetic procedures. Over the years, several plastic surgeons have shared their views on her ever-changing appearance, suggesting what she might have undergone.

Besides facing the heat of altering her looks, Renée Zellweger's relationship with her beau, Ant Anstead, also made headlines with rumors flying about their relationship status.

Zellweger stepped out in London for the Bridget Jones Scenes Unveiling, and it did not take long for people to notice that her lips had recently appeared to be thinner.

As she smiled for the paparazzi, it became evident that her regular puffy lips were smaller than usual. She had moderate glam on, and her blonde hair was pulled up, accentuating her face.

Dr Khan shared his opinion on the noticeable changes, noting that although she looked different, it was likely that nature was the cause of this difference. He said, "She is getting older and she is losing collagen in her face, which may make her features appear more slender."

Furthermore, he praised her looks, saying she looked fantastic for her age and reiterated that her face looked natural. He told The Daily Mail, "It's nice to see a natural face," and did not mention or accord any commendations to plastic surgery or cosmetic workup.

At the beginning of the year, a different plastic surgeon, from Channel 4's "10 Years Younger, My Big Bo-bs" and "ITV's Price of Perfection," Dr Mark Solomos, weighed in.

He commended her looks, saying that she looks great in his opinion, and confirmed that she gets a ton of critiques over her looks and what she may have had done. He continued by attributing the changes on her face to weight loss and aging.

Dr Mark then shared his suspicion about the procedures the actress might have undergone. He said that judging from her less hooded eyes, she suspects she had a blepharoplasty, that is, an eyelid lift, and she may have also had lasers for tightening.

He also disclosed that he thinks she has not done anything else to alter her looks besides some non-surgical skin tightening to her face. Added advantages would probably be a healthy lifestyle, good diet, good exercise regimen, and top-notch skincare routine. 

The internet raved back in 2014 when Zellweger appeared at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards. This public showing ignited questions about plastic surgery.

She spoke to PEOPLE exclusively at the time, shutting down the rumors, and two years later, she addressed it again. She cleared up the whispers and explicitly stated that she did not make any decision to alter her face or her eyes. 

The narrative being spread, which she described as international humiliation, was a means for her to set the perspective right and clarify essential topics.

She explained that being a public figure opens her to criticism from different angles. Not only is her work being criticized, butshe is also open to being slammed as a human being.

Zellweger went on to express that she was happy people thought she looked different and revealed that she has recently been intentional about leading a healthy lifestyle. She finished her statement by voicing that everyone's looks definitely change as they grow older.

In May this year, Zellwager made headlines, not for her looks then but for her relationship. The rumors were that she and her partner, Ant Anstead, were experiencing troubles in their relationship and were living apart as a result.

As published by The Blast, Anstead shut down the trouble in paradise rumors via his rep, who called them disrespectful and misleading. Before the rumors, Anstead was spotted spending the night at the home of divorcee Julia French in Laguna Beach.

His rep cleared the air, explaining that the TV host was only there because he and French were longtime friends with similarly aged children. He then confirmed that the actress and the TV host were in a cherished relationship and wanted to maintain their privacy.

At the "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy" movie premiere in London this January, a heartfelt moment was captured. Anstead graced the red carpet with his presence and his two adult children, Amelie and Archie, to show their support for his girlfriend.

Anstead gushed over her at the event and also shared a photo on his socials. The Blast shares that Amelie also showed online support for her father's beau by commenting, "Had the best time! Super proud of Ren!!" under the post.
