Actress Christina Ricci is the latest celebrity to speak out against Megyn Kelly after the political commentator made controversial remarks about Jeffrey Epstein’s victims on her podcast. The "Yellowjackets" star joined a growing wave of criticism surrounding Kelly’s discussion of the late financier’s crimes and her attempt to draw distinctions between the ages of Epstein’s victims. The backlash erupted after screenshots of Kelly’s comments went viral, sparking outrage across social media and prompting Christina Ricci to issue a fiery response of her own.
Christina Ricci Calls Megyn Kelly 'A Danger To Children'

On November 14, Ricci took to her Instagram Stories to condemn Kelly after seeing a series of screenshots shared by BuzzFeed that featured Kelly’s controversial discussion on "The Megyn Kelly Show." The images, originally from @betches_news, highlighted remarks from Kelly’s recent conversation with conservative journalist Batya Ungar-Sargon, in which she drew distinctions between different ages of Epstein’s victims.
One reposted slide quoted Kelly as saying, “There’s definitely a difference between a 5-year-old and a 15-year-old. But that difference is not ‘whether or not sleeping with them makes you a pedophile.’”
Ricci didn’t hold back, writing simply, “This woman is a danger to children.”
Megyn Kelly’s Controversial Epstein Remarks

During the podcast, Kelly discussed the House Oversight Committee’s release of Epstein-related emails, claiming that she had been told Epstein “was not a pedophile.”
“I know somebody very close to this case… Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile,” Kelly said. “He wasn’t into 8-year-olds, but he liked the very young teen types… There’s a difference between a 15-year-old and a 5-year-old, you know?”
She went on to say, “I’m just giving you facts. That he wasn’t into, like, 8-year-olds. But he liked the very young teen types that could pass for even younger than they were but would look legal to a passerby.”
Although Kelly briefly described the topic as “disgusting” and insisted she wasn’t “trying to make an excuse,” she maintained that she was simply presenting factual distinctions based on what she’d “been reliably told.”
Megyn Kelly Questions Pam Bondi’s Statements About Epstein Videos

Kelly explained that for years she believed Epstein’s victims were in their mid-to-late teens, until former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed earlier this year that the FBI had reviewed “tens of thousands of videos” showing Epstein with children or child pornography.
“That was the first time I thought, ‘Oh, no, he was an actual pedophile,’” Kelly said. Still, she cast doubt on Bondi’s statement, saying she no longer trusted Bondi’s word on Epstein’s case. “I don’t know whether it’s true,” she said. “I have to be honest; I don’t really trust Pam Bondi’s word on the Epstein matters anymore.”
Kelly added that she wasn’t certain what was true about the late financier, saying, “We have yet to see anybody come forward and say, ‘I was under 10, I was under 14, when I first came within his purview.’”
Ricci’s condemnation of Kelly comes amid widespread backlash online, with many calling the journalist’s comments tone-deaf and dangerous given the established facts of Epstein’s crimes.
Victims Were As Young As 14

According to federal prosecutors, Epstein’s 2019 indictment revealed that several of his victims were as young as 14 years old, and that the disgraced financier was fully aware they were underage minors. Court documents detailed how Epstein recruited, groomed, and sexually abused dozens of teenage girls, often at his Palm Beach mansion and New York City townhouse, under the guise of offering them “massages” in exchange for money.
Epstein died by suicide in a Manhattan jail on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
Epstein Estate Documents Released By Congress Include Emails Mentioning Donald Trump

Epstein continues to dominate headlines as U.S. lawmakers released more than 20,000 pages of documents tied to the estate of the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, including some that mention President Donald Trump.
On Wednesday, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee published a set of three email exchanges, including correspondence between Epstein and his long-time associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year federal prison sentence for sex trafficking. Another set of emails released by Democrats included conversations between Epstein and author Michael Wolff, who has written multiple books about Trump and his inner circle.
According to committee sources, the documents were obtained after Epstein’s estate was subpoenaed as part of the House Oversight Committee’s ongoing investigation into the federal handling of Epstein’s criminal case and alleged network of associates.
