Brittany Cartwright Fires Off Accusation At Jax Taylor In Divorce Update

Brittany Cartwright is really looking forward to leaving everything attached to Jax Taylor behind!

The reality TV star is very optimistic about her dramatic divorce from her estranged husband wrapping up in the coming weeks, since things have really deteriorated between them.

Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor separated last February, and she filed for divorce six months later, after five years of marriage and a decade together.

The media personality is very eager to wrap up that divorce by December at least, and she communicated this during her appearance at BravoCon. She accused her estranged husband of being responsible for the bottlenecks in the process behind the scenes.

Cartwright added that the divorce did not just happen out of thin air; it actually took ten years of her life waiting around for a change to occur with Taylor, but it was a dead end.

The mother-of-one also shared on the side that her spark is back, and she is currently having a blast as a single mom. She noted that her joy would reflect in the new season of "Vanderpump Rules," which became more fun since Taylor left the show.

According to her in the US Weekly report, "It was great to not be harassed all season long. It was nice to have a break and just be able to focus on me and my son. It was a great experience."

Although her divorce is dragging behind, things have certainly picked up the pace in her dating life. Page Six shared that Cartwright was romantically linked to Brandon Hanson during a getaway to Mexico back in August.

The duo were reportedly very handy with each other and would not stop with the PDA and selfies while chilling by the shore. However, Cartwright confirmed that they broke things off not long after that during an episode of her "When Reality Hits" podcast last month.

She acknowledged that they were very good friends prior to any romantic relationship between them, but the fact that it became public sooner than projected really caused a problem for the whirlwind romance.

Despite this split, Cartwright insists there is still a lot of love, friendship, and care between her and Hanson.

Earlier in the year, The Blast noted that the Bravo star revealed that Taylor's trip to rehab did not reflect on his life. He reportedly actively sent nasty texts to her the entire time he was in the treatment center, just like old times.

"So, for me, I was just noticing, like, this is just going to be constant. Like, if you're in therapy seven hours a day, and you're still finding time to call me names and cuss me out? And send me rage texts? Then you're obviously not ever gonna change," the reality star continued.

She reiterated her satisfaction with the decision to part ways with the podcaster, noting that there is no going back on that route, and she is beyond happy to continue with the process.

Following her split from Taylor, Cartwright detailed the very difficult means she had to get by when it came to her living conditions. As reported by The Blast, her estranged husband blatantly refused to leave their shared home the moment she filed for divorce. 

She revealed that Taylor would not leave their home for seven months after the split, forcing her to move to different rental houses. Cartwright added that she even offered to let him move into the rental home that she had paid for, but he still would not do it. 

Well, Taylor finally left the home, and Cartwright is currently in there with their son, Cruz. In her words: "I feel like I made this house a home. Cruz was born here. This is his house. He's got his pool outside; he's got his swing set. He's got his playroom. He's got everything here."

Cartwright then stressed that she now holds a grudge towards her ex for that act. She cited Cruz's autism and how moving between homes must have made him super uncomfortable.

Taylor embarked on an extensive retrospection process over a year after his separation from the TV star. In a May episode of his podcast, the content creator admitted that he might not be the right fit for a romantic relationship. 

He added that he was not even supposed to be married, and that remains a fact he has known all his life. On his marriage to Cartwright, Taylor stated that he went in thinking this time would be different, but his doubts about his ability to stay married held sway.

Taylor even declared himself as the problem in most of his failed relationships, claiming that he always ends up bored with any relationship to the end. However, the podcaster insists that he enjoys being a dad to their son, and he is doing everything he can to become a better person for him.
