Scooter Braun reportedly considered taking over OnlyFans after the explicit platform offered itself up on a silver platter.

The business mogul, best known as the former music manager of Justin Bieber and other stars, had the chance to become the new owner of the popular porn-friendly site. However, the tempting offer was not for him.

News of Scooter Braun's alleged interest in OnlyFans comes months after he stepped down as the CEO of HYBE America. Last year, he retired from artist management, and currently seems content with dating Sydney Sweeney.

According to new reports, Braun had been quietly negotiating with OnlyFans reps to purchase the platform. Insiders familiar with the situation told PUCK that he "was deep into talks" with CEO Keily Blair and Jamie Sharp, but he ultimately turned them down.

Contrary to the outlet's claims, sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that Braun's conversations with OnlyFans reps weren't that "deep." They explained that his lawyers weren't involved in his brief discussions with the platform's reps, who reportedly approached him first.

According to the sources, the platform's reps contacted Braun and attempted to entice him into purchasing the site with an offer they hoped he wouldn't refuse.

Months before Braun's reported encounter with OnlyFans reps, he had stepped down as CEO of HYBE America. The Hollywood Reporter covered the story in July, reporting that he had transitioned from CEO to an advisory position.

The new post made Braun a part of the HYBE Board of Directors, joining the group as a director and a senior adviser to chairman Bang Si-Hyuk. According to a source, Braun told staffers that his transition had been "in the works for quite some time."

The source claimed that Braun's five-year tenure as CEO was initiated with the sale of his Ithaca Holdings to HYBE in 2021. He reportedly assured employees that he would maintain his role as a guide to the artists on the HYBE roster and that he wasn't going anywhere.

As stated, Braun retired from artist management in 2024, announcing the end of that phase of his life in an emotional social media post. He rose to fame for managing talented singers such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, J Balvin, Demi Lovato, and The Kid LAROI.

Bieber was one of his most famous clients, as he discovered the Canadian singer in his teens and was instrumental in his rise to stardom. Unfortunately, the pair's once-tight bond turned contentious following the aftermath of the "Baby" hitmaker's cancelled Justice tour in 2022.

The cancellation left Bieber in debt to AEG, the tour's promoter, reportedly owing over $20 million. Braun had stepped up to cover the massive bill in the form of a loan to the singer, but getting the money back kicked up their highly publicized squabble.

A source claimed Braun's last act at HYBE was his way of closing the chapter on their dispute following the settlement of the debt.

Sydney Sweeney Is Enjoying Her Romance With The Businessman

Following his dispute with Bieber and transition in HYBE, Braun found love again with "Euphoria" star Sydney Sweeney. The Blast shared in September that a source had shed light on the actress's feelings for the businessman, claiming she enjoyed his company.

"He's engaging, down-to-earth, and she likes being around him," the source said about Sweeney's feelings for Braun. Although they had yet to publicly address their romance, the duo happily flaunted their bond at every opportunity, including a romantic date on Labor Day.

They were spotted spending the weekend at Lake Tahoe, with a source claiming that Braun cherished every moment with Sweeney. They noted that he enjoyed spending time with her and was looking forward to how their relationship would develop.

Braun and Sweeney's romance followed the end of their respective relationships. The actress had been set to wed her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino, before they called things off earlier this year. A source alleged that she didn't feel right about tying the knot amid her career's growth.

In Braun's case, he was married to Yael Cohen for seven years, tying the knot in 2014 after dating for about a year. The Blast shared that they separated in 2021 and their divorce was finalized a year later, leaving them as co-parents of three children.

Braun confessed that his mental health took a beating during the end of his marriage to Cohen, revealing that he battled with suicidal thoughts. He described the situation as a harsh wake-up call, noting it felt like his world was crashing down as his marriage and career fell apart.
