Cardi B Is All About 'Starting Over' Amid Birth Of Her Fourth Child

For Cardi B, every event in her life is an opportunity to start afresh!

The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker welcomed her fourth baby a few days after she attended Stefon Diggs' game in early November, and it is all about the start of a new era for her.

Cardi B announced her fourth pregnancy with the NFL athlete last September, over a year after her separation from estranged husband, Offset, in July 2024.

The media personality pulled up on Instagram with the most heartwarming post about the new addition to her family. She shared that her status as a new mother is in tandem with her resolutions to be a better person, career-wise and in her professional life.

"My last chapter was the beginning of a new season. Starting over is never easy, but it's been so worth it! I brought new music and a new album to the world! A new baby in my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me," the star wrote.

She noted that her current phase has given her one more reason to love herself more than anything else or anyone else to help give her kids the love and life they deserve.

For the next chapter of her life, Cardi affirmed that she is her only competition and it is her against every odds put in her way to slow her down. She also informed her fans that all plans are in motion to give them the best tour of her career and the best performance of a lifetime.

"I've learned I've healed, and I'm loving the woman I've become! That's what this next era means to me, and I'm stepping into it better than ever," the musician concluded in the caption.

There is no doubt that Cardi has remained a fan favorite nearly a decade into her iconic career. The Instagram post received over 700k likes from fans and thousands of comments praising her strength and new resolve.

"I felt ALL of this," singer Tamar Braxton wrote with lots of fire emojis in front of her comment, while another fan wrote: "Congrats, now let's put more belt to ass!!! You've got 4 babies to feed now!!! Let's gooooooooo!!!! 

Another commenter was beyond impressed with the timing between her delivery and this SnapBack game. This Instagram user declared that the rapper is "BACK LIKE SHE NEVER LEFT."

"This new era looks GOOD on you! Elevation, healing, motherhood... all of it. So proud of you," a celebrity hairstylist stressed.

Earlier in the month, the footballer attended the CFDA 2025 awards, where he had a conversation surrounding the sex of his baby and plans for his arrival.

As reported by The Blast, Diggs was beyond pleased to share that he was expecting a baby boy with the rapper, and he already has a to-do list of things that would make their time together so fun.

He stressed how much he could not wait to make his son do "push-ups," "sit-ups," and "run around" the house. Diggs also hinted at the due date, asserting that it was very near at the time, and asked for lots of luck from their well-wishers.

The feeling was also mutual for the rapper over a month ago when she sat down with Gayle King and announced her excitement to welcome a baby with the athlete.

Cardi added in the conversation that enough work was going on to make her album release a successful one at the time, while preparing the floor for the arrival of her baby.

Cardi's infant son already has a big sister as Diggs was finally confirmed as the father of an Instagram model, Aileen Lopera's seven-month-old child. The model, known on Instagram as Lord Giselle, welcomed a daughter with the footballer in April.

The Blast shared that Lopera's attorney confirmed that Diggs is indeed the child's dad, and the model simply wants to raise the baby girl, named Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, amicably and in unity with the footballer.

Now that the paternity drama is sorted, Lopera's team is now on to a new agenda on the list, which is to intensify efforts on the co-parenting arrangement if Diggs and her team fail to reach an agreement on raising the daughter.

Diggs had earlier denied the allegations that he fathered the child and even requested genetic testing to affirm the child's paternity. The judge then ordered both sides to complete a mandatory DNA test to determine the paternity.

Speaking of co-parenting, Cardi also has a running dynamic of her own with her estranged husband, with whom she shared three kids.

The media personality had claimed earlier in the year, according to a report by PEOPLE, that Offset is an absent father who has pulled out of his monetary responsibility for their kids' bills.

Cardi noted that she pays about $45,000 in private school fees for her daughter, Kulture's education, and nannies' upkeep. She welcomed Kulture with Offset in 2018 in Atlanta, and has often shared her milestones with the world via social media, including extravagant birthday parties and vacations.

Three years later, the former couple welcomed their second child, a son, Wave Set. The couple did not share a picture of their son until April 2022, when he was seven months old.

By September 2024, Cardi welcomed her second daughter and their child with Offset, Blossom. The baby girl came one month after she announced her third pregnancy with an emotional maternity shoot in the middle of her divorce drama with Offset.
