This comes right after Travis Kelce's ex, Kayla Nicole, was dragged for throwing shade at his current partner, Taylor Swift, with her Halloween costume.

Nicole sent a lengthy message to fans and followers, owning up to her faults via her online presence. She apologizes for the hurtful tweets she made in previous years and admits they were wrong.
She acknowledged that online hate is cruel and harmful and does not want to contribute to the spread of the vice any further. Also, she admitted that her acts at the time were "ignorant, hurtful, and completely wrong."
Nicole continued, sharing that she has grown into a better woman since then and would neither share the same views she previously had nor use such words. To make amends, Nicole states that she takes full responsibility for her actions and has deleted the tweets. She took a step further and deleted her X account as well.
She ended her statement by apologizing to everyone she had hurt and declared that her values are now rooted in love, empathy, and respect for others. Although she cannot change the past, she promises to strive to show that she is a changed woman indeed through her actions.

Kayla's controversial tweets were mainly homophobic and racist. They resurfaced after folks interpreted her Halloween costume as a shot at Kelce and his current partner, Taylor Swift.

The media personality dressed as Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton and recreated a choreography from one of her most iconic music videos. She lip-synced some of the lyrics of the song that played in the background, particularly the chorus.

Fans praised Nicole in the comments, with thoughts that she was clapping back at Swift for the lyrics in her newest single, "Opalite."
