It has been two years since the tragic passing of "Euphoria" star Angus Cloud; however, his mother hasn't been allowed to move forward due to those allegedly eying his estate.
Lisa Cloud barely had time to mourn the loss of her son when a man named Jonathan Kim started claiming he was her late son's personal assistant. He alleged he was owed a massive sum in commissions and filed two lawsuits to claim it.
Angus Cloud's mom was thrown into a legal hell despite still grieving his death, an emotionally devastating ordeal for which she is now seeking justice.
Angus Cloud's Mom Sues The Legal Firm & Attorneys Responsible For False Allegations

According to new reports, Lisa filed a civil complaint lawsuit against attorney Michael Hackard, his associate, Brian Geremia, and their firm, Hackard Law, on October 31. She accused the group of defending Kim despite knowing his allegations were false.
Lisa told PEOPLE in a statement that she was seeking justice, accountability, and fairness. She accused the defendants of attempting to profit off her loss, stressing that she was fighting back to ensure no other family would "endure this kind of abuse of process after losing a loved one."
"My goal has always been to protect my son's legacy and the integrity of his estate from wrongful legal actions that caused unnecessary harm and distress," Lisa declared.
She echoed similar sentiments in the complaint, calling out the defendants for taking Kim's case despite the evidence she provided to show his allegations were false.
Inside The Grieving Mom's Civil Lawsuit

According to the civil lawsuit, Lisa confronted the attorneys after Kim came out with his claims. They allegedly ignored her, even with evidence that showed he was never Angus's personal assistant or owed any money.
Kim reportedly got banned from the late actor's entourage after a public altercation and attempted to score some cash in his absence. However, Lisa refused to let her son's name be tarnished by false allegations.
The complaint stressed that she valiantly fought against the allegations, which were emotionally distressing and challenging for a woman in her sixties.
The documents claimed she spent over $64,000 in legal fees defending Angus' estate, whose assets totaled around $50,000, unlike its widely reported million-dollar worth.
Lisa Cloud Wants Justice And Compensation

Besides her monetary losses and emotional distress, Lisa alleged that her safety was jeopardized when the attorneys leaked the private letter she had sent to them. Their actions, per the lawsuit, sparked threatening messages from Kim.
He allegedly threatened to have her incarcerated, causing Lisa to fear for her well-being. Based on these arguments, the complaint noted that she wanted compensatory and punitive damages, including potential treble damages under California's elder abuse and fraud laws.
Kim's first attempt to collect money from Angus's estate was rejected before he filed a civil lawsuit for the same claims. The Blast reported that Lisa did not take the allegations lying down and moved to have the case dismissed.
The Matriarch Asked The Court To Close Her Late Son's Estate

In her response to Kim's second lawsuit, Lisa implored the court to shut down the debt claim and dismiss the case. She argued that the allegations held no merit, noting that Kim failed to show up for his own deposition and had issues with his legal team.
She pointed out that Kim's first lawsuit was dismissed in 2024, and the same should apply to his second attempt to get money from her son's estate. Lisa also implored the court to close Angus's estate, stressing that all pending matters had been resolved.
Lisa reportedly asked for $44,000 from the estate to cover her attorney fees, while the remaining funds should be given to her as the sole beneficiary of Angus's estate. The Blast previously shared in 2024 that the late actor's estate was allegedly worth a total of $892,238.94.
'Euphoria' Star Reflects On Angus Cloud's Tragic Passing

Angus rose to fame for his role as the beloved drug dealer Fezco in the HBO drama series "Euphoria." He starred in the show's two seasons and would have played a considerable part in the third, according to his co-star, Colman Domingo.
Last February, The Blast shared that the Hollywood veteran had addressed Angus's passing in an interview. Domingo confessed that his tragic passing affected the entire crew, recalling there were several moments when they came together to grieve and celebrate his memory.
"He was a wild one. I love him. He was a wild little brother. He was just sweet and funny and warm and odd at the same time," Domingo said about Angus. The TV personality died on July 31, 2023, from an accidental overdose.
