Kylie Jenner is sharing a candid moment that opens windows to a vulnerable time in her life.
The business mogul was deeply affected by the death of her hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, to the point that it almost affected her new career venture.
Jesus Guerrero reportedly died in February, around the same time the celebrity was taking a big leap into the entertainment industry. Kylie Jenner honored her late stylist in words and deeds before reflecting on the void his death created.
Kylie Jenner Almost Missed Her Acting Debut Because She Was In A Bad Place

Kylie appeared on her older sister's "Khloé in Wonderland" podcast on Wednesday and had a heartfelt conversation. She revealed that weeks after Guerrero's death, she was hesitant to commit to her acting debut role.
Kylie has been cast in A24's forthcoming movie titled "The Moment," which is expected to hit the theaters in 2026. This is a massive opportunity for the businesswoman as it marks her first time in the movie industry.
She disclosed that after making the commitment, she realized that she was in "a really bad place" and did not know if she would feel better a month from then to start filming.
Kylie then contacted the director, Aidan Zamiri, informing him that she really wanted to do it, that she hoped she was in a better place at that time, and that she would get it together if he gave her a chance.

While speaking further, Kylie revealed that she reached out to her older sister, Kim Kardashian, for encouragement and advice on acting since she has more experience.
Kim recently appeared in television shows like "American Horror Story" and "All's Fair," so she seemed like the best person Kylie could turn to. She practiced saying her lines with her, and Kim was so supportive.
Kylie also disclosed that she had some fears with regard to acting and that it most likely stemmed from her being very sheltered.
Although her part in the movie was small, she had a lot of lines and felt proud of herself for overcoming her fears. Kylie could not reveal more details about the film, though she said she was playing herself in the movie.
When Khloé asked about her future plans with acting, she said she would be interested in comedies and would do it if it were the right thing and the right role.

Guerrero passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from a lung infection in February 2025. After his death, the Kardashian-Jenner clan took to their socials, writing tributes and sharing sweet words about the deceased.
Kylie went the extra mile to ensure that he was given the best possible final treatment. The Blast reports that she helped his family cover his funeral bills and other expenses, which included transporting her late glam squad member's body back to his hometown of Houston.
She reportedly spent time with his family, showing her support, offering help where necessary, and comforting them. Her sisters, Kim and Khloé, also shared pictures with Guerrero on social media, writing how much they loved him and how he was more than a mere stylist but a family to them.

Kylie honored the hair expert's memory once again on his birthday in August. She took to social media to celebrate his first posthumous birthday. Kylie honored his legacy, marking what would have been his 35th birthday.
"Not a day goes by that we don't think about you @jesushair," the mom of two wrote on her story, wishing him a heavenly birthday and recounting that he is missed and forever loved. His death brought her to a state of deep grief and sadness as she admitted that the loss was unbearable.
As shared by The Blast, Kylie expressed right after his death that she was unsure how to move forward and stated that the world felt lonelier without him.

The socialite has had her fair share of grief this year. Last month, she lost her dog, Norman, whom she hadhad for almost thirteen years. Kylie broke the news of his passing on Instagram, sharing photos of them together.
In the lengthy, heartfelt post, she recalled how she wanted an Italian greyhound since she was a child, but her mother, Kris, refused her request up until she was seventeen.
She described Norman as the best Christmas gift she ever got and expressed that it was hard losing him. She drew comfort in the fact that he children met and loved him as well before his death.
Kylie's post featured multiple photos of sweet moments with Norman, even one that showed her children and the late greyhound playing.
