The Osbournes Reflect On Navigating Life After Ozzy Osbourne
During the most recent episode of "The Osbournes" podcast, the grieving family sat around a table and spoke candidly about their loss.
An emotional Kelly said she never understood just how difficult grief is, noting that her father's absence was something she never saw coming.
"I never realized just how horrible grief is. I never knew I was capable of loving somebody so much and missing somebody so much, I just, I never thought there'd be a day where he wouldn't be here," Kelly said as she fought back tears.
Looking at the silver lining, Sharon pointed out that her children were "blessed" to have had a father like the late Prince of Darkness. She, however, also revealed she was struggling to adjust to life without her late partner.
The 73-year-old TV personality acknowledged that grief hits her in "waves," noting that she hates going to bed at night because she still struggles to sleep alone. Kelly slept with her for the first two months after Ozzy's passing, but eventually decided to give Sharon her space.
Meanwhile, Kelly also revealed that mornings were hardest for her because everything would feel normal for only three seconds before the grief would hit.
"I wake up and for the first three seconds I feel normal. And then I remember everything. Mornings are the hardest for me. What is the morning? Because it happened in the morning. And I used to spend most of my time with Dad in the morning," she said.
She admitted that although Ozzy would hate to see her crying, she couldn't help it because she just missed him "so much."

Why Ozzy Osbourne's Family Put Documentary About The Singer On Hold

Although Ozzy's death shocked his family to their core, the singer seemed to have anticipated his own passing as he was working on a documentary to show his final years.
The documentary, titled "Home Coming," gave an inside look into Ozzy's deteriorating health in the last three years of his life. It was scheduled to air on the BBC a month after the rock star's passing. However, it was unexpectedly pulled from the lineup.
According to The Blast, the Osbournes decided to put the documentary on hold because they were still struggling with Ozzy's passing and wanted the public to respect their privacy during their grief.
