Lady in Red Amy Schumer Wants Nothing To Do With Pre-Weight Loss Chapter: 'I'm Feeling Good!'

Amy Schumer is letting the whole world know she feels confident in her skin! 

The actress shared new pictures on her social media, showing off a bold red number, and announcing that she has moved on to a new chapter in her life. 

Schumer has been open about her weight loss journey and has previously shared how she ditched Ozempic after experiencing adverse side effects. She is now on a new weight loss medication called Mounjaro. 

Fans woke up to a shocking realization that Schumer had deleted every single picture from her Instagram grid. The only post now on her Instagram page is a four-slide carousel that is only a few hours old. 

In the post, the Grammy Award nominee was photographed wearing a red mini dress designed with a heart-shaped pattern. The dress, which was the silk-wool heart mini dress by Valentino, was paired with sleek black Chanel shoes. 

Schumer didn't appear to wear any jewelry with the outfit, and she styled her blonde hair in straight tresses that fell to her shoulders. 

The post’s caption read, “I actually left my house tonight. Who’s proud? I’m feeling good and happy. Deleted my old pics for no reason!"

Hours before that, Schumer shared the very first picture she ever posted on Instagram. She captioned it, “My first ever Insta post. I'm gonna erase them all cause why not?"

Schumer cleared her Instagram grid over two weeks after she showed off her abs in a picture shared to her Instagram story. 

As reported by The Blast, the “Trainwreck” actress shared a picture of herself wearing a purple tank top and blue pants as she posed in front of a mirror.

She tucked one hand into the waistband of her pants and used her other hand to hold the phone in front of the mirror.  The caption simply read, “No filter, No filler, No clean mirror.”

Before that, she had similarly shown off her new figure during an outing with close friends. This time, she wore a black Miu Miu shirt dress that showed off her toned legs and paired the look with open-toe high heels. 

The actress’s recent transformation shows that she has shed about 40lbs over the past few months. From weighing around 170lbs, she is now estimated to be 130lbs. 

Schumer’s body transformation follows the confession that she used Mounjaro when Ozempic adversely affected her. 

She shared that she first underwent liposuction before finding Mounjaro, which she calls “the right formula.” She acknowledged that she used the GLP-1 medication alongside estrogen and progesterone which have helped to manage her premenopausal symptoms. 

“My symptoms of being in perimenopause have disappeared. My hair is fuller, my skin is better. I have more energy. I'm having a really good experience, so I wanted to keep it real with you about that,” she said, per The Blast.

Before trying Mounjaro, Schumer also tried Wegovy in an attempt to shed some of the unwanted weight. However, the drug resulted in severe vomiting and nausea, and she admitted that she “couldn't handle it.” 

Desperate for a solution, the 44-year-old actress had a telehealth consultation with Midi Health, after which she started using Mounjaro. 

The new medication not only transformed her looks but also led to a boost in her confidence, energy, and sex drive.

Speaking of her sex life, Schumer has not been one to shy away from revealing intimate details about herself. 

In February, the “Expecting Amy” star opened up about her sex life with her husband, Chris Fischer. She revealed that it was in their habit to schedule their intimate moments, and noted that they only have sex on special occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.

“We do birthdays… we do schedule it, we do schedule it. Nobody ever is like, 'Oh!' There's never like, a vibe where it just happens. Do people do that?” she said.

The couple tied the knot in 2018 and celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary on February 13.

As The Blast reported, Schumer celebrated the occasion by sharing a picture of herself and her husband on their wedding day. In the caption, she gushed over being married to Fischer, saying that they signed a prenup seven years ago but haven't had to utilize it yet.
