Kristin Cavallari is open to dating again; however, certain men in the entertainment industry aren't on her preference list.
The "Laguna Beach" alum got candid about the type of men she would love to date and why a specific group did not make her list. She became legally single following the finalization of her divorce from former NFL star Jay Cutler.
The former couple announced their separation in April 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage. Kristin Cavallari welcomed three children during her union with Jay Cutler, sons Camden and Jaxon, and a daughter named Saylor.
Kristin Cavallari Calls Actors 'Insecure'

During the November 11 episode of her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, Cavallari opened up about her dating preferences and why actors did not make the list. She described the group as a "bunch of nerds," claiming they weren't her type because she believed they lacked confidence.
"Typically, actors are very insecure, and I think that's why they become actors, because they're seeking outside validation," Cavallari theorized. She added that most actors were "really cheesy," but her distaste for dating them did not stop her from crushing on stars like Brandon Sklenar.
Cavallari raved about her love for the "It Ends With Us" actor, noting he was her celebrity crush. "He's so hot, and he's the type of guy that I want," she declared before reiterating that she could not date Sklenar since his acting career was a major turn-off.
The Podcast Host Wants A Man Who Has Time For Her

Cavallari shed more light on her distaste for actors as a romantic partner, stressing that she did not want to be in a long-distance relationship. She explained that actors had a demanding career, frequently travelling and having packed schedules.
"Logistics-wise, the scheduling would be a nightmare. And he wouldn't be able to travel to me all the time," Cavallari added. It seems she doesn't want a man who is just as busy as she is, as the podcast host isn't the type to choose love over work.
During the live taping of her show in New York City on March 13, Cavallari revealed to Nikki and Brie Garcia that she had postponed two dates with "known people" to prioritize her podcast tour. PEOPLE reported that she claimed she told the men they would have to wait until the tour ended.
The Media Personality Initially Swore Off Dating

While speaking to the Garcia sisters, Cavallari reflected on the end of her marriage to Cutler. She noted that it was the first time she had been single in a long time and initially swore off dating before hopping on dating apps to find a possible match.
Cavallari noted that her return to the dating pool had been "up and down," with moments that made her go "F-ck this!" Nonetheless, she claimed she had fun meeting new people and learning more about her preferences in men.
The media personality described her new chapter as a "learning phase," explaining that her conversations with potential partners helped her realize the things she loved and disliked. "That's been instrumental because I've made some mistakes in the past," Cavallari said.
The Uncommon James Founder Previously Raved About Her Love For Brandon Sklenar

The latest episode of Cavallari's podcast wasn't the first time she name-dropped Sklenar on the show. The Blast reported in May that she had gushed about her admiration for the actor after meeting him in person.
According to Cavallari, the memory of her time with Sklenar was hazy because she had been under the influence of alcohol and mushrooms. Nonetheless, she recalled picking the TV personality out of his group of friends at the Stagecoach music festival.
The surprise sighting sent Cavallari into fan-girl mode, and she rushed up to Sklenar to share her love for him. She noted the actor treated her warmly, shaking her hand and looking straight into her eyes while thanking her for her support as his fan.
Kristin Cavallari Scored A New Deal For Her Podcast Exceeding Seven Figures

While Cavallari hasn't struck gold in the dating pool, being single did not hinder her success. The Blast covered her latest career achievement in October, sharing that she had found her niche as a podcaster with a massive deal to prove it.
Michael Bosstick, founder and CEO of Dear Media, announced that his organization's collaboration with Cavallari would continue with a multi-year deal for her podcast. The contract reportedly exceeded seven figures, with Bosstick claiming she was worth every penny.
Bosstick raved about Cavallari's success as a podcaster, noting she proved her worth with her podcast tour and active listeners. The host launched the show in 2023, following her "Laguna Beach" rewatch podcast. She took her program on the road early this year with a slew of celebrity guests.
