Ariana Grande just got a major blast from the past, and it’s none other than her viral moon landing moment!

Last year, the “Victorious” star made headlines when her reaction to a question about her take on space exploration was deemed a lie. Now, Grande has reflected on the moment but says she's ready to move forward.

While the “7 Rings” singer has also been busy with her “Wicked” tour, she narrowly escaped being hit by an SUV.

Ariana Grande Clears The Air On Her Moon Landing Theory

During a Vanity Fair lie detector test with Bowen Yang on YouTube, Yang reminded her that the last time she was on the hot seat, her results were inconclusive about whether she believed the moon landing happened.

When asked if she wanted to redeem herself this time, Grande quickly shut it down, replying, “No, I wanna move past it.” Still, Yang pressed on, insisting they talk about space.

The conversation took a humorous turn when Yang showed her a photo of Katy Perry and Gayle King and jokingly asked if they'd gone to the moon. Grande quipped, "No, because they didn't. They orbited the Earth or went up for a few minutes.”

The “SNL” host then went on to test the “Positions” singer’s views about the lunar landing. While Grande affirmed she believes the celestial body exists, she was less certain about the planted flag. "I hear both arguments," she said before making her stance clear.

“The truth is, I don't give a rats a—,” Grande confessed. “I'm worried about Earth. We're burning alive, we're killing each other. Can we worry about Earth for five minutes? Who gives a f—k about the moon and the flag?” she exclaimed, shocked that the topic had resurfaced.

This latest sit-down comes a year after Grande's infamous polygraph moment with Cynthia Erivo, when she was asked if she thought the moon landing was fake.

Shocked by the question, she exclaimed, "Jesus Christ! What do you take me for?!" before nervously answering, "No...? No!"

However, the polygraph machine didn't seem convinced. The test results initially showed inconclusive and later suggested signs of “deception.” Grande jokingly called the experience a "nightmare" and blamed her confusion on being from Florida.

The “Bang Bang” singer went on to wonder why there aren't more recordings of the event if it happened so many times, though she ultimately confirmed that she believes it did occur.

Grande isn't the only celebrity sparking debates about space history. Kim Kardashian recently shared her own opinion about lunar exploration, even drawing a response from NASA.

As The Blast reported, in the second episode of her Hulu show “The Kardashians,” she told her "All's Fair" co-star, Sarah Paulson, that she believes the 1969 Apollo 11 lunar landing never actually happened, claiming she had articles to support her view.

She cited astronaut Buzz Aldrin's remark that he had no scary moments in space as proof that “nothing happened.”

When a producer asked how she expected people to react, Kardashian admitted, “They're gonna say I'm crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok, see for yourself.”

Although Grande's space musings during her sit-downs have made fans laugh, they had a different reaction to her recent chat with Elle Magazine a few days ago, alongside Erivo, for the press tour of their musical.

During the talk, the pair was asked to describe each other’s aura. Grande described Erivo as "yellow, like sunshine... maybe purple," while Erivo called Grande’s aura "ceil blue... sunset-orange,” per The Blast.

Grande admitted they hadn't been asked that question before, and Erivo added that it was "a great question."

The exchange quickly went viral and sparked mixed reactions. While some praised their warmth and closeness, others found it overly sentimental or “cringeworthy.”
