Diddy's trial and time behind bars since his arrest on September 16, 2024, have definitely taken a toll on his appearance, as seen in a new mugshot obtained by CBS News.
The picture was taken on the day he was transferred from the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York to the New Jersey federal facility, where he is currently serving time.
In the mugshot, the rapper sported slightly full gray hair and a beard, a stark contrast to his once-polished image and a visible reminder of his fall from luxury following his arrest.
He appeared to be wearing a brown shirt, which is possibly what he wore during his transportation to Fort Dix.
Diddy's sentence is set at four years and two months, though the 13 months he has already spent in detention will count toward his time served, potentially allowing for an earlier release.
The rapper's mugshot has since circulated online, with netizens shocked at how "aged" and "unrecognizable" Diddy now looks.
The Music Mogul Has Allegedly Been Violating Prison Rules

The mugshot appeared amid reports alleging that Diddy had been violating prison rules.
One of the leading allegations claimed that he initiated a three-way phone call, which is prohibited in the low-security prison.
The said call was first between Diddy and an unnamed woman, whom he tasked with arranging visitors for him who would bring in cash.
Having cash brought in by visitors is also a rule prohibited by the prison, which the rapper appeared to have zero concerns about also flouting.
Upon discussing the arrangement with the woman, another individual known as "the digital person" was then added to the call.
When confronted by prison officials, Diddy reportedly claimed that the woman was his attorney and the man was the head of legal communications.
He also insisted that he was unaware of the ban on three-way calls, saying he was never informed of the rule nor provided a prison handbook outlining such restrictions.
Diddy Was Reportedly Busted Drinking Homemade Booze Days After Fort Dix Arrival

Diddy was also alleged to have been caught drinking homemade booze within days of his arrival in Fort Dix.
The booze, according to reports, was made of Fanta, sugar, and apples, left to ferment for days.
It is unclear how the rapper obtained the alcohol, but all indications point to other inmates with whom Diddy got acquainted upon his arrival.
The incident is said to have led prison officials to consider moving the rapper to a new unit, but the decision was ultimately not reached.
The Rapper's Rep Denied The Alcohol Allegations

Following the report, Diddy's representative issued a statement denying that the incident occurred.
"The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false. He's taking this healing journey seriously and staying focused on growth and accountability," said the representative, per USA Today.
"His only goal is to get back to his family—and he's not jeopardizing that for anything," they added.
Sources Say Diddy Hasn't Changed His Behaviour After 'Changed Man' Plea

In Diddy's plea for mercy ahead of his sentencing in October, the rapper told Judge Arun Subramanian that he is a changed man.
However, sources who spoke with Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop have claimed that Diddy remains unchanged in character.
"He hasn't changed," one insider said, adding, "Diddy still thinks he's in charge, even behind bars. It's the same arrogance — just with concrete walls."
"He knows how to work the system," another source added about the music mogul, referring to his recent antics. "He acts like it's a luxury rehab, not a federal facility."
Of his actions, Diddy has received warnings from officials in the facility. However, he appears to have ignored them, with one source noting that he "laughs it off."
"He's Diddy — he's used to power," an insider said about Diddy's attitude. "And power's hard to surrender."
"He's not rehabilitating — he's reinventing the hustle from inside," one more source said about the rapper.
