The Duchess of Sussex has been making headlines since rejoining the entertainment industry for a cameo appearance in an upcoming movie. The move has sparked mixed reactions, with royal commentators slamming her decision.

However, a source recently shared a different narrative, describing Meghan Markle as a woman with a "warm" personality who is fun to work with.

According to new reports, Meghan was photographed on the Pasadena, California, set for her new movie on Wednesday, November 5. An insider reflected on her time on the movie sets, noting that she came as herself rather than the Duchess of Sussex.

"She introduced herself as 'Meghan.' Everything about her was very sweet and calm," the insider claimed. "She genuinely seemed excited to be on set. She was joking that she felt a bit rusty, but it was obvious that she had rehearsed."

The insider told PEOPLE that Meghan exuded "a very warm energy" and was "super pleasant to be around." Their positive review of the former senior royal's behavior comes eight years after she stepped back from acting to join the royal family as Prince Harry's wife.

During her 2017 engagement interview with Prince Harry, Meghan addressed her exit from Hollywood positively. She noted it wasn't a situation where she was giving something up; instead, she was simply embracing a new chapter of her life.

Meghan reflected on her years-long journey on the legal drama "Suits," describing herself as fortunate for having a regular role on the hit series. "Once we hit the 100-episode marker, I thought, you know what, I have ticked this box and I feel really proud of the work I've done there," she said.
