Paris Jackson revealed a painful secret that fans had never known in a recent social media video.

The 27-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson admitted she has a hole in the middle of her nose caused by years of drug abuse.

She showed the condition on camera and shared how it affects her daily life. Paris also reflected on her journey to sobriety, explaining how her past choices nearly cost her health and well-being, and warned others about the dangers of substance use.

In a resurfaced clip reposted by a TikTok fan account, Paris opened up about a shocking side effect of her drug use, a "perforated septum," or a hole between her nostrils.

"I realized I never addressed this, and it can sometimes be very noticeable," she began. "I have a really loud whistle because you can hear it when I breathe through my nose, and that is because I have what is called a perforated septum."

To show fans what she meant, the model used her phone flashlight to illuminate one nostril, revealing the small tunnel between both sides of her nose.

The whistle, she added, was audible in one of her earlier videos. Hinting at the cause, she said it was "exactly where you think it's from."

Paris explained she has lived with the condition for about seven years, a lasting reminder of the pain she endured.

Paris Jackson didn't hold back when reflecting on the choices that led her to this point.

Looking straight into the camera, she gave a simple but powerful warning, "Don't do drugs, kids."

Yet, in true Paris fashion, she was brutally honest about the complexity of recovery.

"Or do [use drugs], I mean, everyone is going to have the experience they need to have with life," she added.

Still, her message was clear. "I don't recommend it because it ruined my life," she admitted.

Despite her raw honesty, the actress also revealed a fear that has kept her from correcting the physical damage.

She explained that she was almost six years sober but hesitant to undergo surgery to repair her nose because she worried about relapsing.

According to Paris, taking pills is a big part of the recovery process after undergoing such "gnarly" surgery, and she didn't want to get involved with that.

Earlier this year, Paris marked five years of sobriety, a milestone that once felt impossible.

She commemorated the feat with a powerful social media post that left fans emotional.

"Hi, I'm pk and I'm an alcoholic and a heroin addict," she shared per the Daily Mail. "Today marks 5 years clean & sober from all drugs and alcohol. To say that I'm thankful would be a poor euphemism. Gratitude hardly scratches the surface. It's because I'm sober that I get to smile today."

Paris went on to reflect on the simple pleasures sobriety had brought back into her life, saying that she was finally able to make music, enjoy loving her dogs and cat, experience heartbreak fully, grieve, laugh, dance, and trust.

She added that she felt the warmth of the sun on her skin and cherished it.

It was a message that deeply resonated with fans who had followed her long and difficult recovery.

Long before her sobriety milestone, Paris Jackson had opened up about the depth of her struggles.

In a 2017 Rolling Stone interview, she revealed how her tattoos covered both track marks from drug use and scars from self-harm.

"I was crazy. I was actually crazy," she said. "I was going through a lot of, like, teen angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help."

She admitted she had attempted suicide multiple times before enrolling in a therapeutic school in Utah, an experience she described as great and life-changing.

"I'm a completely different person," she said at the time.

“Ummm, no?? I haven't gone to a clinic.. Someone doesn't have to almost die for me to know to be healthy, I've already had friends OD and die. That's enough for me," she tweeted.

The following year, another report claimed she had entered treatment for her emotional health, but Paris clarified that the story had been exaggerated.

"Yes, I've taken a break from work and social media and my phone because it can be too much sometimes, and everyone deserves a break," she said. "But I am happy and healthy and feeling better than ever!"
