Cardi B could not contain her excitement as her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, raced into the end zone for a game-changing touchdown.

This comes after a shocking revelation that Diggs is reportedly the father of Aileen Lopera's seven-month-old daughter, a paternity scandal that made headlines earlier this year.

Despite the paternity drama, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs are focused on their own growing family, with the star announcing her pregnancy in September. 

Cardi made her excitement clear from the comfort of her bed on Sunday as she watched her boyfriend pull off a clutch 4th-down catch against the New England Patriots. The play gave the Patriots a 14-10 lead and had Cardi practically shouting through her phone.

Before all the cheers and touchdown celebrations with Cardi, Diggs' personal life made headlines. The NFL star was confirmed as the father of Aileen Lopera's seven-month-old daughter.

The Blast notes that the Instagram model, also known as Lord Giselle, gave birth in April. Her attorney confirmed Diggs is the child's father and emphasized that Lopera wants to co-parent amicably.

"Now that the child's paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child," the attorney stated.

While the paternity confirmation settles one question, the case is not fully resolved. Lopera's legal team plans to continue pursuing arrangements if the pair cannot reach an agreement on raising their daughter, Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera. 

Last year, Lopera took Diggs to court, claiming he was the father of her unborn child, asking the court for legal and physical custody. She also requested that he cover her pregnancy, delivery, and attorney costs, and be granted visitation rights.

Diggs denied the allegations, questioning the claims and requesting genetic testing to confirm paternity. As the outlet noted, the judge required both sides to complete mandatory DNA testing to determine the child's father.

Diggs also asked that, if confirmed as the father, he share legal and physical custody and split pregnancy, birth, and attorney expenses with Lopera. 

Diggs is getting ready for fatherhood, and in his excitement, he shared the gender of his and Cardi's unborn child. The Blast shared that the 31-year-old revealed the news during the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards, telling People Magazine, "It's a boy. That's enough for me."

Diggs did not hold back his excitement, talking about all the activities he is looking forward to with his son. "I can't wait to make him do push-ups and sit-ups and run around," he said.

Diggs confirmed the baby's arrival is imminent, asking fans for good luck wishes for him and Cardi. The couple has been anticipating this moment since Cardi announced her pregnancy, with Diggs openly expressing that he was "100% team boy" under one of her social media posts.
