Erika Kirk Branded 'Too Touchy-Feely' Over 'Disrespectful' Hug With Country Star In Front Of His Wife

Erika Kirk has once again set tongues wagging with another viral hug moment.

The wife of late activist Charlie Kirk embraced country star Jason Aldean for a lengthy period of time during the Fox Nation Patriot Awards on November 6. The viral moment shared much similarity with another, where the mother of two was seen hugging Vice President J.D. Vance at an event.

For both instances, Erika Kirk has received backlash, with many labeling the gestures as inappropriate and "disrespectful."

For the second time in barely two weeks, Erika Kirk, the wife of the late right-wing influencer Charlie Kirk, has gone viral for giving a hug to a married man.

This time, Erika was seen sharing what appeared to be too deep a hug with country star Jason Aldean at the recently held Fox Nation Patriot Awards, while his wife watched on, seemingly less than enthused at the interaction.

In a clip of the moment, Erika, dressed in a sparkly green gown, embraced Aldean, with the added touch of rubbing her hand all over his back.

Meanwhile, Aldean patted the back of the new Turning Point USA CEO twice during the moment, before they later pulled. The entire moment lasted more than a few seconds.

Reacting to the video, some netizens slammed Erika for hugging Aldean in such a manner, with a viral post on TikTok branding her as "too touchy-feely."

"Ugh. So disrespectful of Jason's wife! Both of them!!!! Yikes. You just don't do that," a user said.

"She tends to overdo it all. Very inappropriate," a second individual noted, while a third commented, "No need to embrace so tightly. Such a huge disrespect to Brittany."

Amid the backlash, some netizens also defended Erika, saying there was nothing wrong with the embrace.

"She doesn't know boundaries, disrespectful to their spouse," one more person wrote about the mother of two.

"So what she hugs women that way, too," an individual remarked, while another wrote, "Let's not make more of this than it has to be.. Just stop!!"

One more wrote, "She misses Charlie, she feels closer to Charlie by hugging the ones Charlie loved, she's a hugger, that's ok."

Late last month, Erika also sparked controversy for the tight hug she shared with Vice President J.D. Vance during a Turning Point USA campus event where he appeared to show his support for her.

The embrace immediately had people speculating that there might be more between the two, as Erika was seen cupping the back of Vance's head and running her fingers through his hair during the moment.

However, supporters of the grieving widow swiftly came to her defense, noting that Erika is known to hug people like that.

Some claimed she was simply a "big hugger," and that there was nothing wrong with the way she embraces others.

Erika and Vance also exchanged a few words during their viral hug, which a lip reader later revealed to Mirror U.S.

According to lip reader Nicola Hickling, Vance reportedly told Erika that he is "proud" of her.

Erika then replied with, "It's not gonna bring him back," referencing her late husband's demise.

The lip reader also revealed the words Erika told her assistant before she got on stage at the event.

"I can't do this, I don't want to do it," Erika reportedly said,  before asking for some time to compose herself.

Erika recently appeared in an interview with "Jesse Watters Primetime," where she opened up about how her life has changed since his passing.

One of the revelations she shared was how she deals with the question from her children about their father's whereabouts.

"You told your children that Charlie was going on a work trip with Jesus. Are they still asking, 'where's daddy'?" Watters inquired of Erika, per Fox News.

"Yes, my daughter continues to ask, but it's really sweet, because I keep explaining to her a few things," Eriak replied to her host.

She added, "I said if ever you want to talk to daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you. It's always good. And I told her, I said, You know, 'Daddy, daddy is in heaven.' She goes, 'Do you think I could go sometime?' I said, 'Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day.'"
