Dijonai Carrington Wows In Sultry Black Dress While Injured

Dijonai Carrington traded her jersey and shorts set for a sultry black dress that left fans stunned. The outfit was for the Ghostbond’s “Bonded For Life” event in Los Angeles on November 1. Even with her injured foot, she showed up at the event and stole attention with her risqué outfit.

She wore a black bandeau dress with a daring midsection cutout that created the illusion of a two-piece. The skirt gathered and knotted on one hip, opening into a thigh-high slit.

Carrington also debuted a new hair color, showcasing the Ghostbond wig glue. Rather than her usual blonde hair, she wore an auburn-brown wig styled in an updo, with soft waves framing her face.

On her feet, she wore a single metallic gold sandal, while the other leg was in a gray orthopedic walking boot. Carrington sustained a left foot injury during Game 2 of the WNBA playoffs on September 17, 2025.

One fan admitted they “didn’t even notice the boots” until they read comments, noting how it didn’t stop her fashion moment. “Absolutely stunning, even with the boots,” added another.

Fellow basketball players chimed in, too. Angel Reese wrote, “Tuhhh. Thank yaaa,” while Courtney Williams simply commented, “HER.”

Carrington, however, loves to switch things up. Her Instagram feed shows her rocking black pixie curls, pink waves, and her signature blonde look. It appears the blonde look is a fan favorite, or perhaps just familiar.

In one particular post, Carrington wore a blonde wavy wig that completely mesmerized fans. She was dressed in a black leather bikini-style top with chain detailing and a denim skirt.

Fans went wild, calling her “the hottest chick in the W.” “You’re on fire off and on the court,” one noted.

Dijonai Carrington shared a carousel on August 16 to celebrate her move to the Minnesota Lynx. The carousel was a mix of Carrington’s photos, showing how she is a fierce competitor on the basketball court and an effortless baddie off it.

The first slide featured her in a skimpy two-piece featuring a halter top and mini skirt, while another showed the Lynx’s scoreboard win over the New York Liberty.

A fan summed it up perfectly, “Officially a good guy, forever a baddie.” Notably, the “good guys” is an unofficial nickname for the Lynx.

Dijonai Carrington was in a relationship with fellow WNBA player NaLyssa Smith, and they’ve been one of the WNBA’s most-talked-about couples. Initially, they were each drafted from college by different teams, but played together again for the Dallas Wings in 2025.

In late June, Smith was traded to the Las Vegas Aces, while Carrington was later traded to the Lynx in August. They supported each other through the distance until recently.

They reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted shared photos, sparking rumors of a split. Neither has confirmed the speculation, but the internet is already running with it.
