This comes after it was revealed that Prince Harry looked "fed up" at the birthday bash with Meghan Markle sporting her usual beaming smile.

The Kardashian matriarch celebrated her 70th birthday on Saturday night with a glamorous James Bond-themed party in Beverly Hills, where Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, were among the star-studded guests.

Despite their attendance, Kris later posted a series of images on Instagram thanking her "beautiful family and friends" for a "magical night." Still, the Sussexes were notably absent from the photos.

Branding expert Chad Teixeira told the Daily Mail that in the world of celebrity PR, what isn't said or shown can be just as meaningful as a public post. For someone as media-savvy as Jenner, he noted, the omission is "unlikely to be accidental."

While this doesn't necessarily point to tension between the Kardashians and the Sussexes, Teixeira believes it might indicate Kris is "subtly maintaining neutrality," avoiding giving undue attention to other high-profile brands.

This isn't the first instance of a Kardashian seemingly overlooking Meghan.

In August, Khloé Kardashian shared photos from her sister Kylie Jenner's 28th birthday celebration, including a shot of a gift hamper from Meghan's lifestyle brand, As Ever. Yet, Khloé didn't tag the duchess in the post, even though Meghan reposted it with a cheerful comment: "Hey hey, all my girls with a K."

Fans quickly picked up on the apparent oversight, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reactions.

One joked, "Is Megan Markle invited to Kylie's Birthday party? Maybe that's why she sent the wine basket, thinking she might get an invitation." Another commented, "'My girls with a K?' Is she 9? The Kardashians would probably hate it."

A third user pointed out that Khloé doesn't follow Meghan on Instagram, noting wryly, "But Khloé does follow Martha Stewart."

A few days later, Kris appeared to address the slight, posting a thank-you on her Instagram Stories for a case of As Ever's 2024 Napa Valley Rosé wine sent by Meghan.

While Harry appeared serious at the party, Meghan couldn't stop beaming, her smile lighting up the room as she held tightly onto her husband's hand.

Body language expert Judi James told the Daily Mail that Harry seemed to be in what she described as "Spare mode," allowing Meghan, who recently signed on to her first acting project in eight years, to take center stage.

James explained that the couple's dynamic at the event is "more old-school A-list," with a focused, almost protective Harry accompanying Meghan like her personal bodyguard.

"In star terms, this reflects her return to the big screen as an actress, while he seems to be back in 'Spare' mode here," she added.

Entering Kris' party, Meghan kept her gaze lowered, a gesture James described as a "cut-off ritual," signaling a subtle, coy detachment from performing for the cameras.

Meghan's presence at Kris's party comes amid speculation that the duchess may be preparing to launch a Kardashian-style "mega brand."

Earlier this month, she was seen mingling with British "Dragon's Den" star Emma Grede, the mastermind behind Kim Kardashian's hugely successful SKIMS line.

Grede later shared several posts on Instagram from her Los Angeles dinner, highlighting Meghan as the "star guest."

According to the Daily Mail, PR insiders have suggested that the posts hint at Meghan drawing on Grede's expertise as she gears up for a potential new business venture.

Royal commentator Emily Andrews added that Meghan could be eyeing the hospitality sector, stating, "I can see her moving into hospitality more generally, and if she manages to do that, I can absolutely see her becoming a billionaire."

While Andrews predicted hospitality, other PR experts have pointed to fashion, couture, or beauty products as equally plausible directions for the duchess.
