From “America’s Got Talent” to the Las Vegas Strip, Piff the Magic Dragon has had a wild ride filled with tons of memorable moments. This month marks his 10th anniversary of performing at Flamingo Las Vegas and he’s celebrating during the entire month of November.
His special anniversary performance on Nov. 9 paid tribute to Piff’s world-famous Chihuahua and longtime stage partner, Mr. Piffles, and debuted a brand-new act with Mr. Piffles II, a scientifically cloned successor.
Piff the Magic Dragon sat down with The Blast ahead of his anniversary show to discuss the last 10 years in Vegas, how he got his start in comedy and magic, and his new furry cloned buddy.
Piff The Magic Dragon Celebrates 10 Years In Las Vegas With Milestone Show

Celebrating 10 years on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, Piff the Magic Dragon, known for his comedy, illusions, and adorable sidekick pup, is commemorating the big milestone with some excitement.
The celebration will span the month of November and includes the launch of his new podcast, 10% off tickets throughout November, and some other fun. The High Roller Observation Wheel and Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas will shine green and yellow for one night in honor of the beloved performer. And let’s not forget about the Mr. Piffles.
The celebration will also pay tribute to Mr. Piffles, who performed in more than 5,000 shows before his passing, as well as celebrate Mr. Piffles II, a scientifically cloned successor who is just as adorable as the OG pup.
Piff, Mr. Piffles, and Jade the Showgirl are also celebrating an extension of their residency at Flamingo with a new three-year deal.
The Journey To Becoming Piff The Magic Dragon

Piff the Magic Dragon's journey has been anything but boring. Piff began forming a love for magic very early in life and it’s evolved into the blossoming career he proudly has today.
“I was doing magic when I was a kid. I loved like the feeling that you get when you're like no that's completely impossible how does that work,” he told The Blast exclusive. “I loved giving it to other people, but I got fired everywhere because I had this like resting b-tch face. I'm happy, like what is your problem?”
And then one day, he needed a costume for a party but didn’t have one. His sister told him she had a dragon costume under her bed and he could wear that.
“So I wore this dragon outfit to a party and no one else was in costume, it was just me, and I was appropriately grumpy for once,” he continued. “My friend said, you should do this in your act. You could be Puff the Magic Dragon. I said, wait, I could be Piff the Magic Dragon.”
And so, Piff was born and has since evolved into the Piff we all know and love who performs nightly on the Las Vegas Strip.
Celebrating The Legacy Of Mr. Piffles

When Piff was first starting out, he felt something was missing from his show.
"The girl who was running the venue, she had a chihuahua, and we put that chihuahua in the show and it killed. So the next day, we went out and found Mr. Piffles on Gumtree, like the UK Craigslist," Piff told The Blast. "He went into the show the next day and was a legend from the beginning."
Piff and Mr. Piffles were together for 15 years and performed around 5,000 shows together. Piff adored Mr. Piffles so much that before he died, he made sure to do something to ensure Mr. Piffles legacy can continue to grow.
"When Mr. Piffles was like 16, I was like, I'm going to see about getting him cloned," Piff explained. "So we went to the vet, they took his DNA, and they sent it to a company in Texas. And about nine months later, Mr. Piffles II was born, 100% genetically identical to the original Mr. Piffles."
Introducing Mr. Piffles II

Mr. Piffles II was welcomed by the audience Sunday night. Everyone was excited to see Piff's new sidekick.
When asked what training was necessary before getting him into the show, Piff said, "He just needs to sit there and look bored, which he does very well."
Piff said that Mr. Piffles II "likes barking at strangers. That's his big thing. He's much more barky than the original Mr. Piffles was."
In addition to that, there's one other difference that sets the two pups apart.
"Piffles was, like, a year and nine months when I got him. He was basically a rescue dog, and he'd had a miserable start in life, so he was very grateful," Piff said. " Whereas the new dog has just been born into a life of privilege."
Piff also told The Blast that cloning Mr. Piffles didn't just bring one new pup into his life...he's got three clones of Mr. Piffles.
The Blast Attended Piff The Magic Dragon's Special Anniversary Show

The Blast was in attendance for Piff's 10th anniversary celebration. Being a first timer at the show, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I knew there would be incredible magic, but I didn't realize I would be laughing the entire time.
If you're looking for a show that blends comedy, magic, and lots of audience interaction, this is the one. And one thing that stood out for me was the venue. It has an "old Vegas" feel to it, so it holds some nostalgia for anyone who's been to a Vegas show in the 90s. Plus, there isn't a bad seat in the house. No matter where you're sitting, you have a great view of all the fun on stage.
Jade the Showgirl brings a whole new level of energy to the show. And let's not forget about Mr. Piffles, who is so adorable in his dragon costume and does his job well!
