Megyn Kelly Lays Into Meghan Markle For 'Dining Out On Royal Titles,' Urges 'King William' To Demote The Duchess

Megyn Kelly has harshly criticized Meghan Markle again, accusing the Montecito-based royal of "cashing in" on her royal titles while living in the U.S.

The journalist predicts that Prince William would strip the duchess and her husband, Prince Harry, of their titles, noting their seemingly waning U.S. support after being booed at a Dodgers game.

Megyn Kelly has previously made wild claims about Meghan Markle, once saying that the former actress "killed" the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Kelly has taken fresh aim at Meghan, accusing the Duchess of Sussex of "dining out on royal titles" while living in the U.S.

Speaking with Daily Mail ahead of the launch of "The Megyn Kelly Channel" on SiriusXM, the outspoken journalist said that dislike for Meghan is one of the rare issues that unites both sides of America's political divide.

"She [Meghan] is dining out over here on the British Royal titles, it's so absurd, the family she called racist, the people she called racist," Kelly remarked.

"I'll tell you something that happened to me," she contitinued, "I'll go out to dinner at a restaurant, I'll have leftists come up to me and say - 'I disagree with you on literally everything except Meghan Markle and I will download your show and watch your social media for that alone,' which just shows me she's one of the few things that has brought us all together in our loathing for this person."

Kelly also predicted that Prince William will one day follow in King Charles' footsteps by stripping Meghan and Harry of their royal titles, just as Andrew was demoted to "Mr. Andrew Mountbatten Windsor" amid the Epstein fallout.

"King William, in whatever years it takes after he ascends, I think he's going to take away their [Harry and Meghan's] Royal titles," she said. "And that should happen ASAP."

Her comments come months after Meghan was criticized for using her HRH title on a gift basket she sent to beauty entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima.

Though Buckingham Palace had announced in 2020 that the Sussexes would stop using "His/Her Royal Highness" following their exit from royal duties, Meghan's note read, "With compliments of HRH The Duchess of Sussex."

A spokesperson for the couple at the time insisted that they do not use HRH titles for commercial purposes, so no official agreements had been breached by them.

Kelly further questioned why Meghan would still want to identify as a royal when she had distanced herself from the family, saying it showed the couple's focus on self-interest.

The journalist then noted that it's only a matter of time before Harry and Meghan lose their royal titles entirely, claiming they've already lost public support in the U.S.

"No one cares about them, and no one is rooting for them. You saw them get booed at the World Series game the other day. That's real," she remarked, referencing their recent boos at the World Series game as proof.

The commentator went on to suggest that Canada would have been a more fitting home for the Sussexes after leaving the U.K.

"It's woke, it's annoying," she said. "I'm not sure how California got saddled with these two."

Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan's recent date night at Dodger Stadium didn't quite go as smoothly as expected.

As reported by The Blast, during the Los Angeles Dodgers game, the couple appeared on the stadium's big screen before a crowd of more than 56,000 fans, only to be met with a mix of cheers and noticeable boos.

When the camera cut to them on the kiss-cam, Harry and Meghan smiled and looked ahead, appearing calm despite the awkward moment.

But fans quickly took to social media to comment on the reaction. One attendee wrote, "Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just came on the big screen and the crowd booed them! I think I'd cry if that happened to me."

The couple's appearance also stirred controversy over their prime seating arrangement.

They were spotted in premium front-row seats right behind the pitch clock, spots typically reserved for top VIPs and worth tens of thousands of dollars, while several Los Angeles sports icons, including Magic Johnson and Sandy Koufax, sat behind them.

In May this year, Kelly made several wild allegations against Meghan, which included a bold claim that the duchess was partly to blame for Queen Elizabeth II's death.

The journalist made the remark during an episode of her podcast, while chatting with guest, Barstool Sports owner, Dave Portnoy.

The pair were discussing Meghan's interview with Jamie Kern Lima on Lima's podcast, where she shared several candid details about her personal life and business.

When Portnoy began sharing his views on the Royal Family, Kelly swiftly cut in with the inflammatory remark, saying, "Another thing, she killed the queen."

Portnoy, surprisingly, chuckled at the remark and agreed that Meghan "did kill the queen."

Later on during their conversation, Kelly took more jabs at the duchess, calling her a "bully" and "a nightmare behind the scenes."
