Nia Sioux Claims Abby Lee Miller's Actions During This Scene Could've Ended 'Dance Moms' For Good

Like many of the other girls on "Dance Moms," Sioux pursued a music career during the later seasons, releasing songs like "Star In Your Own Life" and "Slay."

However, Sioux claims in her book that her dance teacher, Miller, wasn't happy about her pursuing music, alleging the 60-year-old felt slighted by Sioux signing a contract without her.

Sioux wrote that Miller—on camera—called her mentor, former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day, and allegedly bribed her with money to end her working relationship with the young dancer.

"Once the call connected and I heard the voice on the other end of the line, however, I froze," she wrote, according to PEOPLE. "It was Aubrey. Abby told her that she'd heard we were working together."

"She went on to tell Aubrey that my mom wasn't supposed to contact her behind Abby's back, that she was my manager, and that she was hurt by my mother using one of her contacts to make an underhanded deal. She then offered Aubrey $10,000 not to work with me," Sioux added.

Sioux admitted she was heartbroken by Miller's alleged actions, writing that she ran out of the room and to her mother, Dr. Holly Frazier.

According to Sioux, the version of this scene that aired on Lifetime was edited to "protect" Miller's image from the audience and preserve the show.

"The network made it seem like the girls weren't in the room and the moms were, and they also cut out the part where Abby bribed Aubrey," she wrote. "Since this was so malicious and vindictive, they had to protect their interests. This was the kind of thing that could've gotten the show canceled — or at least in really hot water."

After this blowup with Miller, Sioux wrote in her memoir that she didn't receive the support from her co-stars that she had needed or hoped for.

"That's when it sank in that I was alone in this Dance Moms world. No one was coming to save me — well, no one except my mom. It was now us against the world," the book read.

Sioux Calls Out 'Ignorant' Miller For Alleged Racist Language During 'Dance Moms' Filming

The alleged bribery attempt wasn't the only disheartening encounter Sioux had with the outspoken television personality.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Sioux also claimed in her book that she was the target of racist behavior on set, accusing Miller of speaking negatively about her hair and her body.

"Abby told me that I needed to fix my hair because it looked awful. She said — on camera, no less —' It's like a log coming out of the side of her head,'" she wrote in the pages of her book before claiming Miller asked her whether she wished she had "white-girl hair."

Another section of the book details another interaction with Miller, who Sioux claimed told her she had flat feet because she was Black. "She would say, 'Well, you know your people have flat feet,'" the dancer wrote before slamming her for being "ignorant."
