Sean "Diddy" Combs had to make do with basic prison food for his 56th birthday celebration on Tuesday, marking a significant change from his usual affluent and lavish parties.
The embattled music mogul has now celebrated his last two birthdays behind prison walls, and could yet mark more with his 50-month prison sentence.
Reports also claim that Sean "Diddy" Combs has been bragging that President Donald Trump would pardon him next year, as fresh revelations about his standoff with a knife-wielding inmate emerge.
Diddy Celebrates 56th Birthday With Unglamorous Prison Food

Sean "Diddy" Combs had no choice but to settle for the unglamorous prison meal to mark his 56th birthday on Tuesday.
The "Finna Get Loose" rapper is currently serving his 50-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey after he requested to be transferred from the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
According to People Magazine, the offerings on the menu for that day included bran flakes, green beans, and a chickpea burger, all of which are a far cry from the previous lavish editions he has held.
He and other inmates had their breakfast at about 6:30 am, and the meal included fruit, a choice of bran flakes, breakfast cake, or whole wheat bread, plus two jelly packets.
It also came with skim milk, margarine, and sugar-substitute packets.
The Rapper's Lunch And Dinner Menu Also Stood In Stark Contrast To His Lavish 53rd Birthday Feast

For lunch, Diddy's meal included options of chicken parmesan or a chickpea burger, fruit or dessert, and a beverage.
The plate also contained pasta with marinara sauce and a side of spinach, served with a choice of garlic or whole wheat bread.
At about 4:30 pm, inmates were treated to a dinner of cheese pizza or navy beans, served with Italian pasta salad, green beans, and a garden salad, plus assorted dressings and a beverage.
Diddy was known for going all out to celebrate his special day, including his 53rd in 2022, which was graced by celebs like Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Travis Scott, Machine Gun Kelly, Chris Brown, French Montana, Teyana Taylor, Tinashe, and Kehlani.
At the time, he shared a clip of a chef from Nobu preparing sushi for guests and also reposted a video where he was presented with several cakes that were customized with his nickname "LOVE."

The rapper's prison birthday comes as he continues to settle into his new home in FCI Fort Dix after he was transferred there last Friday to continue his 4-year prison sentence.
Photos obtained by TMZ showed him sporting a full grey beard as he engaged with a group of men outside in the prison yard.
He was also seen shaking one of the inmates' hands, and others maintained a smily face, showing they were happy to have the rapper around.
Diddy chose to serve his sentence in the minimum security prison so that he would be able to "address drug abuse issues" and "maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts."
The Rapper Has Been 'Bragging' To Inmates About Donald Trump Pardoning Him

The Bad Boy Records founder earlier submitted legal papers to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, asking the court to expedite his appeal process as he claimed it's the only way justice would be served.
Given his relatively short sentence, the request seeks to prevent him from serving out the punishment while his appeal is pending.
According to TMZ, a judge approved the request on Monday, meaning Diddy and his lawyers would have a quicker appeal process. This would see his lawyers making oral arguments in April next year.
Diddy has also reportedly started "bragging" to his fellow inmates that President Donald Trump would pardon him next year, promising them he'll take care of them from the outside when he's pardoned.
Reports previously claimed that the President was considering pardoning the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper, but a White House source said it wasn't true.
Diddy's Former Cell Mate Explains His Encounter With A Knife-Wielding Inmate

Before his transfer to FCI Fort Dix, Diddy stayed at MDC in Brooklyn, where he reportedly had a close shave with death after a fellow inmate held a knife close to his neck.
His former cellmate, Raymond Castillo, has offered more insight into the incident, telling the Daily Mail that the father-of-seven was watching the VH1 reality series "Basketball Wives" in a prison dorm when the said inmate approached from behind.
Castillo said the inmate demanded that Diddy give up his chair for him, but the "Bad Boy For Life" rapper calmly objected.
"Diddy told the guy, 'Yo, homeboy, why are you bothering me when I am watching TV and this chair doesn't belong to anybody. Why are you worried about this specific chair?'" he narrated. "I don't know if he was bullying Diddy or looking for clout, but Diddy didn't go for that."
The inmate then stepped away, only to return with a handmade shiv, prompting Castillo to step in as soon as they took out the knife.
"I jumped in between them and grabbed the guy's hand," Castillo explained. "I didn't know if he was having a bad day or a bad moment, or if he had a bad phone call."
Before now, reports said Diddy woke up with a knife to his throat in bed, but Castillo insisted that's not what happened.
