Olivia Munn Surprised By 'Incorrect' John Mulaney Romance Rumors

Olivia Munn is addressing those John Mulaney relationship rumors that are running rampant, kind of.
Here’s some backstory in case you need a quick catch-up.
The comedian recently announced his separation from his wife of six years, Anne Marie Tendler.
News of their separation was confirmed by their reps to PageSix on May 10. News of their separation came after Mulaney completed a 60-day stint in rehab for cocaine and alcohol addiction.
In December of last year, the “Big Mouth” actor checked himself into a Pennsylvania rehab facility to work on his substance abuse struggles.
From Tendler’s statement, it appears it was Mulaney who wanted to end the marriage.
A statement through a spokesperson said, “I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery."
A rep for Mulaney also confirmed the divorce to PageSix saying, “John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work."
It used to be love, but it's over now!
Upon news of his separation and exit from rehab, many have speculated that he is moving on with Munn.
In recent weeks, the two have been spotted out together enjoying each other’s company.
Over the weekend, the pair were spotted out to lunch at Rick’s Drive In & Out in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, June 29, Munn was spotted leaving his home in the early morning hours. She was dressed in an oversized sweatshirt, leggings and slides carrying a large tote bag.
Slumber party?!?
The two reportedly began dating in May; however, neither party has commented or confirmed the status of their ‘ship’ whether that be a friendship or relationship.
Now, the actress is speaking up about the rumors!
Is It Tea Time?
In a recent interview with New Beauty published on June 24, Munn admitted the tabloid scrutiny of her personal life can be hard to take sometimes.
“I think what’s more surprising is how much is incorrect,” the actress revealed. “There is so much attention on things that aren’t the truth. And if you speak up and try to say the truth, you’re accused of being messy or just not believed. I’ve gotten used to it, but it hasn’t made it easier.”
While this is not the confirmation or denial fans were hoping for, there is a strong possibility Munn and Mulaney are “just friends” that have sleepovers…
A source close to Munn revealed to E! News the two have “known each other for a while and always been friendly.”
They added, “Right now they are just spending time together and enjoying each other's company."
