“I couldn’t be more excited to be coming back to Mandalay Bay for the second time. I feel like I’m coming home,” Kane told The Blast exclusively. “What’s going on with this new venue I’m creating, which is the concept I’ve been doing since 2002, but we’re really kind of taking it next level for this latest iteration and I mean we’re pulling out all the stops. I’m so ecstatic.”

The new club opens on New Year’s Eve, which Kane said is the “perfect time” because, “can you think of a sexier time to open a new burlesque nightclub?”

“We’re making ourselves known in town that we’re back. We’re in the middle of rehearsals with the bands and rehearsals with the dancers and building the space out and taking care of the thousands of things that go into launching a brand-new nightclub,” Kane shared.

“But it’s really an exciting time. We’ve had multiple meetings with everybody over at MGM and Mandalay Bay and you know, they’re excited and I’m excited. It’s just like a big love fest.”

“Forty Deuce is definitely something unlike any other nightclub that’s been around. The wonderful thing about it is it’s a completely unique experience that you have to go to,” he said. “We’ve created this spectacular burlesque and nightclub and kind of mesh it together. We’ve got a very typical nightclub experience where we have amazing DJs and people dancing and VIP and bottle service, but organically throughout the night, we do these very highly produced huge burlesque productions with six dancers and a live band, machines and laser lights and show control lighting and LED environments. It’s just a very big kind of production.”

These burlesque shows happen throughout the evening and creates a unique atmosphere. And once the show is over, the DJ begins spinning tunes again and everyone gets back on the dancefloor to show off their moves.

“It’s just a super fun experience and a really big kind of value for the money, because you’re not just getting a show,” he said. “You’re not just getting a nightclub. You’re getting both.”

For Kane, going back to the same spot the club was once in is special. He said he feels like he’s “tripping a little bit” being back in the same spot inside Mandalay Bay.

“They took down a wall eight days ago and there was a wall behind it with posters from the original Forty Deuce on the wall. It’s really trippy and everybody was just literally dumbfounded,” he shared. “They covered it up with the other venues that came after I left town, but they were taking down a wall and there were posters from the original venue.”

They have been in the process of gutting the entire space, but Kane said the “magic of the room is still intact.”

“It’s a very magical room which is kind of hidden off the beaten path a little but we’re creating a really high-end elegant kind of experience that’s obviously very sexy,” he shared. “It’s less than 5,000 square-feet so basically we’re packing into this kind of intimate lounge setting.”

When asked what brought him back to Sin City, Kane responded, “Who doesn’t want to come back to Vegas?”

“We’ve been in talks over the years about doing venues in other casino properties. And I got a call and they said, what do you think about going into your own space? And I thought that was incredibly exciting and said absolutely,” Kane told The Blast. “So here we are.”
