Nicole Scherzinger has given peace a chance!
The Pussycat Dolls lead singer and the group's founder, Robin Antin, have both agreed to dissolve their lawsuit one year after they claimed that they had reached an agreement.
Nicole Scherzinger's relationship with her former girl group had been marked by tension over the years, including her refusal to invite the rest of the band to her upcoming wedding to former rugby player Thomas Evans.
Inside Nicole Scherzinger And The Band Founder's Dismissed Lawsuit

Last week, the singer and Antin informed the court about their decision to dismiss both the suit and countersuit. This move finally comes about a year after their respective attorneys stated that their clients "have reached a settlement in principle, subject to the execution of certain written agreements."
They had earlier moved to dismiss the lawsuit in May, but ultimately requested that the court grant them additional time to fine-tune the paperwork and establish the terms and conditions.
After a series of back-and-forths, including a move by Antin's lawyer to ditch him, and a court hearing scheduled for later this month, Scherzinger and the founder finally broke even. They established a confidential agreement that worked for them.
As reported by US Weekly, Scherzinger and Antin fell out over the singer's refusal to participate in the Pussycat Dolls' reunion tour, causing the founder significant financial distress.
The Now-Settled Case Experienced A Few Hitches Months Back

It definitely took Scherzinger and Antin a whole lot to lay this case to rest finally. Back in July, Antin's lawyer, David Blau, informed the presiding judge that neither party had reached a functional agreement.
He noted that, due to professional commitments and the complexity of the settlement terms, they needed more time to make themselves available for the hearing. In Blau's words:
"The parties and their counsel and representatives are continuing their efforts to resolve this matter and have spent substantial time negotiating terms and various written agreements to resolve their dispute."
That was not all; in his filing to withdraw as Antin's legal representative, Blau also stated that they had irreconcilable differences in their work relationship, making it difficult for him to effectively represent her.
Nicole Scherzinger And Robin Antin Got Into Their Legal Bout Over Finances

Money indeed makes the world go round; it also puts the final nail in friendship coffins, too. Antin had sued the vocalist over a failed reunion tour, after they had initially agreed to give the singer a 49% cut of the profits.
However, Scherzinger did a 180 and requested a 75% cut of the profits, complete creative control, and final decision-making authority. Robin claimed she received an advance of $600,000 for the tour, and now they were on her neck for a return since the tour failed to hold.
As reported by The Blast, the dancer filed her own lawsuit in 2022, claiming that Antin mismanaged and misappropriated funds intended for the tour to unnecessary purposes.
She added that the founder also breached their existing contract, used her name to secure commercial benefits without her clearance, and did not pay her touring advance like other band members.
The dancer noted that she spent about $163k of her personal funds to sort the group's expenses without a plan to reimburse her. Finally, Scherzinger requested $1.1 million in damages, stating that she let go of a gig worth the same amount for the tour.
The 47-Year-Old Excluded Pussycat Dolls From Her Marriage Festivities

Despite their brief reunion in 2019, the 47-year-old decided to exclude her five former bandmates' names from the list of celebrity guests to grace her wedding. The Blast reported that a source close to the singer claimed the decision was made in consideration of the girls, not out of spite.
The insider confirmed that Scherzinger is not cool with all five girls and that if she invites a faction, the excluded sect may feel offended and bring unnecessary drama to her life as she prepares for the dream wedding.
While in the band, the other members reportedly constantly expressed their frustration with Scherzinger's lead position, which ultimately led to the band's split in 2010.
The singer's plan for her actions was reportedly welcomed by her fiancé, who was there during the dark phase of heartbreak and public attacks his wife-to-be experienced while in the group.
A Former Pussycat Dolls Member Made A Scandalous Remark About The Group

Years ago, former band member Kaya Jones, who left before they broke into the limelight in 2005, made several allegations against the group. She claimed that the band was a prostitution ring that merely used music as a front for the business.
She added that while she was with the girls, she was also forced to terminate a pregnancy by the forces behind the scenes. The singer recalled the abortion happening in the middle of rehearsals for one of their performances at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Jones claimed that, at the height of her career and fearing she would lose her job, she had no option but to agree. She revealed that the same fate would befall any member of the group who dared to get pregnant at the time.
Aside from the guilt of losing her unborn child, Jones recalled battling criticism from fans who claimed she had gotten fat. Jones continued that several members of her former girl group still do not have kids because of the series of abortions they were allegedly subjected to.
Hopefully, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Antin, and the rest of the defunct girl group move on peacefully from this phase!
