Sean "Diddy" Combs has finally been moved to the prison he will call home for the next few years, and the rapper seems to be settling in fine.

However, the embattled music mogul looked different from his usual self, as a photograph showed him all kitted out in a prison jacket and an orange beanie, sporting a grey beard.

Sean "Diddy" Combs was sentenced to four years in prison after being found guilty of two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.

The "Coming Home" rapper has already settled in fast after recently being transported to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

In a new photo obtained by TMZ, Diddy looked unrecognizable as he seemingly walked around the prison yard during what was presumably his recreation time at the facility.

The rapper's grey beard stood out as he donned appropriate attire to keep warm due to the cold weather: an orange beanie and a navy blue puffy jacket.

This would be the first time Diddy would be seen this clearly since his arrest on September 16, 2024, in New York City, as cameras were not allowed in the courtroom during his trial. The rapper's expressions and actions during his court appearances were mainly conveyed to the public by sketch artists present.

Diddy was swiftly assigned prison duty upon his arrival at FCI Fort Dix. Sources who spoke to TMZ claim the rapper was placed in the laundry room to help wash and dry dirty clothes at the facility.

This development for Diddy is definitely a 180 from his usual lifestyle, with prosecutors even noting in court during his trial that the music mogul did not lift a finger to do basic things, such as charging his phone or getting water to drink, and would always call on an assistant to handle them.

Before his move to FCI Fort Dix, Diddy had been holed up in the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, where he spent over a year while standing trial after being accused of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

At the conclusion of his highly publicized legal battle, the rapper received a mixed verdict from the jury, which saw him found not guilty of the more serious offenses of sex trafficking and racketeering. However, Diddy was convicted on two prostitution charges. This earned him  50 months behind bars, with his release date set for May 8, 2028.

Although Diddy got the prison he and his lawyers requested, the rapper still does not plan to spend the next four years behind bars.

The 55-year-old's lawyers submitted legal papers to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday, requesting that it expedite a review of his conviction, as they believed his 50-month sentence should be reduced.

"Mr. Combs expects to challenge both his conviction and sentence in his appeal. An expedited briefing and argument schedule is critical to ensure that Mr. Combs's appeal of his sentence does not become moot while the appeal is pending," the legal document read, per NBC News.

"Accordingly, to ensure that Mr. Combs could meaningfully benefit from any appellate ruling vacating his sentence, we have proposed a schedule that would expedite this Court's consideration of Mr. Combs's appeal," it continued.

During Diddy's trial, his lawyers made several claims that his life was at risk, and recently, one of the rapper's close friends corroborated their story, saying that Diddy once woke up with a makeshift knife to his throat while in his cell at the Metropolitan Detention Center.

The friend, Charlucci Finney, told the Daily Mail that the incident felt more like a warning to the rapper of what would happen to him at MDC.

"He woke up with a knife to his throat," Finney said. "I don't know whether he fought him off or the guards came, I just know that it happened."

"If this guy had wanted to harm him, Sean would have been harmed. It would only take a second to cut his throat with a weapon and kill him," he continued. "It was probably a way to say: 'Next time you ain't gonna be so lucky.' Everything is intimidation. But with Sean, it won't work. Sean is from Harlem."

As reported by The Blast, Diddy's post-prison life will have strict conditions he must meet if he plans to stay a free man.

According to court documents filed in October after his sentencing, the rapper has to take part in outpatient treatment for substance abuse and mental health issues.

He is required to complete a domestic violence intervention program due to the widely publicized 2016 video of him assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassandra "Cassie" Venura, in a hotel hallway.

Diddy must also continue taking medications prescribed to him unless he is told otherwise by a healthcare professional.

Besides these strict conditions, the rapper is required to submit to searches when requested, has been permanently barred from owning or having access to firearms, and must avoid making contact with his victims.
