Kim Kardashian's Viral Moon Landing Theory Sparks A Quick NASA Education

The reality star's conclusion about what really goes down in space gained traction online and even led to a larger situation at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's headquarters.

Kim Kardashian has set the new season of her family's show on a trajectory of television success after serving a fascinating storyline, including her health scare and the ongoing press tour for her new movie "All's Fair."

In the second episode of their Hulu show, Kim explained to her co-star that she believes the Apollo 11 moon landing in 1969 never happened. She promised to send Sarah some documents backing up her theory.

"I'm sending you like so far, a million articles, interviews with both Buzz Aldrin and the other one," Kim said to Sarah, who also showed interest in the whole conspiracy Kim was cooking up.

The reality star continued that Aldrin was asked to describe the scariest moment of his journey to space, to which he replied that there was none because nothing happened.

As reported by Today, Kim then chose to bank on that very statement, insisting that nothing truly happened as regards landing on the moon. She also responded to a producer on the show who asked how she would handle the reaction that would follow her admission.

"They're gonna say I'm crazy no matter what. But like, go to TikTok, see for yourself," Kim declared as she hung out behind the scenes of the "All's Fair" movie.

Kim's statement instantly caught the attention of those at NASA, especially the acting administrator Sean Duffy. He took to his X account to issue a bold disclaimer against the presiding theory from the SKIMS founder.

"Yes, Kim Kardashian, we've been to the Moon before… 6 times! And even better: NASA Artemis is going back under the leadership of POTUS. We won the last space race, and we will win this one too," Duffy declared.

The billionaire seized the opportunity to ask the X handle one more question about 31 Atlas, to which Duffy responded:

"Great question! NASA's observations show that this is the third interstellar comet to pass through our solar system. No aliens. No threat to life here on Earth. 3 = the third I = interstellar, meaning from beyond our solar system ATLAS = discovered by our Asteroid Terrestrial-Impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) team."

The interaction ended with Kim receiving a thumbs-up for her interest in NASA's Artemis mission to the Moon and an invitation to the Kennedy Space Center.

Of course, the internet was fully there to witness the historical interaction between NASA and the reality star as they spilled so much interesting "tea" on X. An X user urged the administrator to leave social media and employ an official handler for the page.

"Yo Duffy. Tell Kim the type of tea they're going to serve on the atlas immediately!" another subscriber declared. Another handle wrote:

"With all due respect @SecDuffyNASA, you need to ask @POTUS to replace you. I believe you are a patriot and that is why I'm hoping you will realize that the position you're currently holding is way too important to be left to someone who is not appropriate."

While the criticism went on, one user praised Duffy for reigniting people's interest in space once again with his knowledge and wit.

The duo took their friendship from behind the scenes to mainstream Hollywood during an outing for their new film. Sarah got very handsy with the reality star as they stepped out alongside Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, and Ryan Murphy for the New York event.

Two images from the event caught the eye of internet users, especially one where Sarah grabbed Kim's famous derriere and let out a goofy expression. Kim seemed to enjoy the interaction, as she couldn't stop laughing and grabbing her pal.

Kim and Sarah also kept it very fashionable for the event in a lavender crop top and brown midi skirt, paired with fur detailing on the shoulders. Sarah looked effortless in a white satin number, paired with a white coat and a sleek bun, to add a serious vibe to her look.

Kim's Hulu legal drama will premiere on the streaming service on November 4.

The 45-year-old got candid about her health scare during one of her press tours for "All's Fair" on Good Morning America. The Blast noted that the star confirmed that her brain condition was discovered during a Prenuvo scan done by an MRI machine, which scanned his entire body.

Kim stated that a small aneurysm was detected in her brain, which was caused by the stress from her failed marriage. She revealed the result of her diagnosis in tears to her big sister over the phone.

The star then urged viewers and concerned fans to watch the rest of her family's Hulu show to get a detailed account of her diagnosis and how she handled the health issue.
