IsRobyn Brown done with the plural-wives lifestyle, or is she just wanting it on her terms?

Kody Brown's remaining and last wife did not take kindly to reports of a distant admirer who wants to join the nest, with the best reaction being that she faulted the admirer's approach.

Kody and Robyn Brown legally became man and wife in 2014, four years after a spiritual marriage in 2010. She currently lives with him as his only wife after the other three sister wives left the marriage.

The reality star revealed to Robyn that a willing participant is lurking around the corner to come on board as his new second wife. According to him, this mystery woman scolded him for his decision to stick to one woman and expressed interest in joining the fold should Kody's interest renew.

Kody confessed to enjoying the attention, but Robyn was unimpressed, slamming the admirer's gesture as inappropriate on technical grounds. Robyn explained that anyone interested in a plural marriage must first consult the sister wives to seek their approval and make the necessary arrangements.

"It's not usually proper to go hitting on a guy. You have to go through the sister wives, you have to go through, like, at least one," she explained an exclusive sneak peek obtained by PEOPLE.

Kody revealed that this particular person is one out of many interested women who have flooded his inbox and mail with similar requests and inquiries about plural marriage. He noted that despite the overwhelming urge to consider this, he is choosing to stay away from the "craziness" of having multiple wives.

He assured Robyn that he had not sent her a letter back and that he had deleted it instantly. However, an unsatisfied Robyn pressed further, asking whether his reason for bringing up the case in the first place was that he wanted another woman.

The family matriarch insisted that he had told her about it because he had vowed never to keep anything from her as they entered a new season of their marriage. In a previous conversation, the two had seemingly agreed to focus on loving each other solely for now, until someone worthy comes along.

In September, The Blast shared that one of Kody's motivations for wanting to open up his marriage again was his raging sexual desire. While Robyn labelled it a very watery reason, Kody stated that it would also give him a platform to connect with someone different.

The TV star's wife received backing from her former sister wife, Christine Brown, who was also the first to quit their plural marriage in 2021. Christine criticized Kody's idea, adding that she hoped it was for entertainment purposes only.

Christine added that Kody bringing another woman into his marriage with Robyn would be an absolutely contradictory move, as he had always emphasized his preference for monogamy when it came to Robyn.

She urged him to ditch the idea altogether and stick to Robyn, whom everyone sees as his perfect match and soulmate. Since parting ways with Kody, Christine married her new husband, David Woolley, at a private ceremony in Utah in 2023.

Kody's tone has remained pretty consistent about his commitment to riding it out to the end with just Robyn by his side. In 2023, The Blast reported that Kody had confessed to finding solace in his exclusivity with Robyn and was interested in exploring that bond further.

"I wouldn't be interested. I would have to tell that woman I will never love you as much as I love her. Now I know better," said the TLC star back then when he was asked about the possibility of bringing in a new wife.

Janelle, another of his ex-wives, seemingly backed up his narrative, stressing that he was leaning more and more towards monogamy and even placed a bet that Kody and Robyn would spend the rest of their days as a monogamous entity.

"They have found something together at this stage of their life that seems to be very deep, and I think it works. And that's OK," declared Janelle, who wagered a thousand bucks over her conviction.

Yes, Robyn may have had the last laugh, but the star got candid about the burden that came with the realization that Kody lost three of his wives in the span of three years. She confessed that the TV star struggled with rejection and constantly put her on her toes, so he does not sabotage the relationship.

Robyn added that being Kody's only wife was not the life she had built with him in 2014 when they got married. She expressed how much she missed the family experience and bond she shared with her fellow sister wives.

On his end, Kody made sure Robyn's efforts to heal his broken heart did not go unnoticed, praising her during a confessional last September.

He emphasized his love and respect for the TV personality, who constantly reassured him of his value and dignity amid the heaps of blame he received from his ex-wives over the breakdown of their marriage.
