Bill Belichick is once again putting the rumors to rest regarding his alleged departure from UNC football.
The legendary coach had recently addressed reports suggesting he had been in talks to step away from the program by publicly announcing his commitment to stay in a press conference earlier in the month.
Now, Bill Belichick has labeled these stories as a "bunch of garbage" and even borrowed a famous phrase from President Donald Trump to drive his point home.
The Veteran Coach Called His Quitting Rumors 'Fake News'

Belichick once again reassured the public that he is not leaving UNC anytime soon after he was ambushed by a question from a reporter about his team's performance.
The reporter suggested that the team had come together since Belichick reaffirmed his commitment to the program, but the coach refuted that idea, stating it wasn't true and that reports of his departure were completely false.
"Whoever that story came from, it's already been taken down and everything else," the former Patriots coach said, per the New York Post.
He then added, "It's just total — as Trump would say — fake news. It's just a novel."
Bill Belichick Says The Rumors Are A 'Bunch Of Garbage' For 'Clicks And Views'

Belichick emphasized that he and his team have remained consistent in their efforts to build the program since he arrived.
"Look, our consistency has been here since the day that Michael Lombardi and I came in and started hiring people and came into the organization in December," he added.
The coach continued, "We got in the same day and have been doing it every day, and that's the way it's gonna be."
"I'm sure there's a lot of other people that want to get clicks and views and posts on 'myface' or whatever. It's just a bunch of garbage," Belichick concluded.
The Legendary Coach Is Yet To Give An Update About His Promised Docuseries

During the discussion, Belichick did not provide updates on the highly anticipated Hulu docuseries about the UNC football program, which reports had claimed was canceled.
The veteran coach had promised earlier in the month that "there will be something," while assuring reporters that the project is "still a work in progress."
However, the possibility of the series coming to fruition seemed contradicted by claims from sources that the project had fallen apart due to concerns from Belichick's camp.
"Jordon, Bill, and UNC all agreed that Hulu's vision of the project was not in alignment with Hulu's," a source told People Magazine.
The insider added that Belichick "was enthusiastic to give unprecedented access to the program; it's too bad Hulu wanted to dive deep into his home life."
Another source also seemingly alluded to this reason, saying the "project that was originally pitched was not the series that was coming together."
Bill Belichick And His Girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, Courted Controversy After A Leaked Video

Away from the UNC program, Belichick's relationship with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, once again came under the spotlight after a leaked video surfaced of the two on the set of the NFL legend's show at NFL Films Studios.
The video, shared in a recent episode of "Pablo Torre Finds Out," showed Hudson asking questions about the show's topics and graphics.
She appeared unimpressed by what she saw, and at one point, she and the former NFL coach seemed to express their dissatisfaction, particularly with the graphics handlers.
"I don't know how they have four full-time graphics people," said Hudson in the footage.
Belichick then replied, "They can't do sh–t," and Hudson chimed in, "Right?"
NFL Films Addressed The Leaked Video Of The Couple Bad-Mouthing Employees

Since the clip emerged, NFL Films has distanced itself from the controversy, per the New York Post.
In a statement, the organization clarified that it did not produce the show but merely allowed the veteran coach to use its studios along with the team from Underdog.
"When this footage was captured, NFL Films did not produce Coach with Bill Belichick," the statement read, per the New York Post. "NFL Films did not edit this show, NFL Films did not shoot the show, NFL Films did not and does not own the show."
It continued, "As a matter of convenience to him… NFL films allowed Coach Belichick and the production team from Underdog to use the studio for his Coach show because he was already here in his capacity as talent on Inside the NFL."
