The Duke and Duchess of Sussex put their troubles behind them to support the Los Angeles Dodgers at their game on Tuesday, October 28. Their MLB date follows their family's visit to a pumpkin patch.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appeared to be in high spirits, seemingly unbothered by the loss of their Director of Communications just four months after she joined their team.

The Sussexes attended Game 4 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays. They proudly supported the Dodgers, donning the team's signature blue baseball caps as they sat in the front row of Dodger Stadium.

Meghan and Harry also rocked matching white tops and blue over-layers, as seen in pictures shared by Page Six. They were photographed watching the game intensely, standing up to cheer, and even interacting with the fans seated behind them.

Ahead of the game, the Sussexes had interacted with fans before entering the stadium. The MLB shared a clip on X of the moment, showing Meghan and Harry waving and greeting people as they entered the venue with bright smiles.

Fans Have Mixed Reactions To The Couple's Appearance

The video generated mixed reactions: some fans applauded Meghan and Harry for supporting the Dodgers, while others were disappointed. Critics argued that the Sussexes, especially the Duke, shouldn't have supported an American team as royals.

"I have an issue with British Royals rooting against one of their Commonwealth. It's a bad look. He should be wearing a Blue Jays cap to offset her Dodgers cap," someone stressed. Another agreed, writing:

"They should be repping the Jays. He's a commonwealth prince, and she got her career started in Toronto. Shame."

On the other hand, Dodgers fans were happy to have the Sussexes' support. "Royals going full Dodger blue! If Harry throws out the first pitch, I'm calling it World Series MVP," a fan chimed. A fellow supporter dubbed them the "hottest royals" and hoped their presence would help the Dodgers win.

The Sussexes Enjoyed A Family Pumpkin Patch Outing

While fans were divided over Harry and Meghan's appearance at the game, some commenters wondered why their children were absent. These fans believed the Sussexes should be making memories as a family.

Although they did not bring their children to the baseball game, Harry and Meghan recently enjoyed quality time with their two children. Over the weekend, the Duchess updated her Instagram page with a video capturing her family's trip to a pumpkin patch.

The Blast covered the story, reporting that Harry and Meghan were joined by their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.  Meghan's longtime friend, Markus Anderson, and her mother, Doria Ragland, also made an appearance, carving pumpkins alongside the Sussexes.

As stated, Meghan and Harry enjoyed a date at the Dodgers game following the loss of another member of their staff. The Blast reported that Emily Robinson, their Director of Communications, left after working for four months.

Robinson's sudden exit sparked renewed scrutiny of the Sussexes' operating system, as they lost four staffers in June. Royal commentator Hilary Fordwich weighed in on the recent exit, noting that it suggested "Meghan Markle's ambition to reshape her public image with a polished team is failing."

"The optics are ghastly as it really enforces the negative image of chaotic brand control, at best, as well as Meghan's dwindling influence," Fordwich said. He added that it was unusual for communications directors to quit shortly after their employment.

Days before Robinson's exit became public, The Blast reported that Meghan had addressed her status as an entrepreneur and a mother. She explained that she prioritized her job as the founder of the As Ever brand and her love for her two children.

Despite her packed schedule, which took her across the globe, Meghan managed to squeeze in time for a trip back home to see her kids. She revealed that she flew back to California after her trip to Paris to spend time with her son before returning to New York City.

Regarding her status as an entrepreneur with employees depending on her, Meghan emphasized the need for collaboration. "I think you have to work as a team. You're only as solid as the rest of the people around you," she said.
