Jana Kramer knows a thing or two about how awful social media can be – that’s why she is using her platform to support her “good friend” Jamie Lynn Spears. Britney Spears’s little sister is facing backlash from fans who believe that the actress has not done enough to support her sister in her time of need. “I texted Jamie when I heard all this stuff in the media and I basically just said like, ‘I’m praying for you and your family,” said Kramer on her podcast Whine down.

Kramer is referring to a video that Spears posted addressing her sister Britney Spears conservatorship drama that is currently unfolding. The emotional video feature Spears responding to passionate #FreeBritney fans who are accusing her of not doing enough to help her sister. “I think it’s extremely clear that since the day I was born, I have only loved, adored, and supported my sister,” said Spears who was almost in tears by this point. “Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to, with a hashtag on a public platform,” she said. “But I can assure you, I’ve supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I’ll support her long after. Note that.”

Kramer agreed with her friend’s sentiments and shared more kind words about the Zoey 101 star adding that she is always there for her and supporting her through prayer and whatever else she may need at this time. She did hear back from Spears which surprised her because of everything going on. “She wrote back a sweet message, and I’m like, ‘Girl, you don’t need to say anything. You don’t need to explain nothing to me. I’m just literally saying we don’t know. Kramer has dealt with vicious lies spread in the media from some of her own situations.
She Knows A Thing Or Two About Scandal
Kramer and her soon-to-be ex-husband Mike Caussin are currently trying to navigate a divorce after years of cheating allegations on his part and their relationship constantly playing out on the blogs. Knowing how harsh people can be, Kramer noted that her intentions for reaching out were purely to show support assuming that Spears would be in need of some positive vibes. She told Spears, “Your family, that is y’all’s business.’ And unfortunately, I can’t even imagine being in that situation.” The conservatorship revealed some truly shocking details about the pop star’s life including being forced to wear an IUD and not being able to drive in her boyfriend Sam Ashghari’s car.

Kramer also took the time to address the #FreeBritney supporters. She described them as “unapologetic” in their support of Spears to the point where they are “being so awful”. In all this mess, Kramer made a valid point. “I’m sure there’s a lot we don’t know and my friendship with Jamie — I would never, ever even dare to ask,” added Kramer. “And that’s not my business. I feel bad talking about her sister because we’re friends.” At this point whether you are a fan or not everyone seems to be sending their good vibes to poor Britney.
