Smith went on to explain why the partnership with Algae Cooking Club fit her life.

"I've been using algae oil for over a year; it's delicate and beautifully elevates whatever you infuse it with," she said. "Algae Cooking Club indulged my obsession with every detail: a custom frosted glass bottle, hand-drawn label, my homemade recipe, no artificial flavors, and a slow steeping process. I'm so excited to share it with my people. Pinch me."

Kas Saidi, the Co-Founder and CEO of Algae Cooking Club added, "Nara's from-scratch cooking is the real deal, and we weren't going to let her or her fans down on a single detail. We steep the oil like tea in large stainless-steel kettles, low and slow. It's painstakingly difficult and time-intensive, but the payoff is a garlic oil that's layered, complex, and still packs a true garlic punch."

Saidi also shared that they "flew yuzu oil in from Japan" to get the flavor just right. "That level of flavor makes this more than a finishing oil," Saidi said. "You can also roast, sauté, and grill with it."

Nara Smith Recently Shared A TikTok Video About Chopping Garlic

Smith's recent viral TikTok video expands on her dislike of chopping garlic.

"There's nothing worse to me than peeling and chopping garlic. So tedious, and you're left with sticky and smelly garlic fingers," she explained. "So, in order to avoid that, I decided to prep a big batch of my roasted garlic algae oil."

She then cut her garlic in half, cut a bunch of scallions, and peeled a lemon, all while wearing gloves to avoid some of that garlic smell she so hates on her hands.

"I added all of that to my pot, so the garlic went in first, then the scallions. I also added my lemon peel and some miso," she continued. "And I topped everything with my neutral cooking oil, which is algae oil, super neutral in taste and not inflammatory, which is really important to me right now."

She said she "popped that in the oven for three hours" before letting it cool, straining it, and bottling it. She concluded her video with, "This is so divine, and I wish you could try it."

And now her wish has come true! Visit Algae Cooking Club's website for more information.
