The “Positions” singer just celebrated her 28th birthday over the weekend and while she most likely got tons of luxury gifts, it appears she is paying it forward!
Ariana is giving away $1million dollars in free therapy to her fans.
The songstress has been very candid with fans about her own personal mental health struggles such as PTSD, and she has been a big advocate for ending the stigma around mental health issues.
Mental Health Matters!
Ari announced that she would be working with Better Help on Tuesday, June 29.
In an Instagram post she wrote, “thrilled to be working with @betterhelp to give away $1,000,000 of free therapy ! while acknowledging that therapy should not be for a privileged few but something everyone has access to, and acknowledging that this doesn’t fix that issue in the long run, i really wanted to do this anyway in hopes of inspiring you to dip a toe in, to feel okay asking for help, and to hopefully rid your minds of any sort of self judgement in doing so!”
She encouraged her fans to take advantage of this opportunity!
“Go to betterhelp.com/ariana to be matched with a licensed therapist for one free month. after that, you’ll have the choice to renew and continue. i so hope that this will be a helpful starting point and that you’ll be able to build space for this in your lives and continue! healing is not linear or easy but you are worth the effort and time, i promise,” Ariana concluded her post.
The newly wed received praise from her colleagues like Demi Lovato who commented a slew of the raised hand emojis 🙌.
Courtney Chipolone expressed the same sentiment, but commented a bunch of clapping hand emojis 👏.
Taraji P. Henson wrote, “My lil sweet pea just being her sweet pea self. Keep going Queen.”
In May, which was Mental Health Awareness month, Ariana shared with fans, “Here’s to ending the stigma around mental health and normalizing asking for help. healing isn’t linear, fun, quick or at all easy but we are here and we’ve got to commit to making this time as healthy, peaceful and beautiful as possible. the work is so hard but we are capable and worth it.”
Ariana’s charitable ways have not gone unnoticed, thank you!
