Cardi B has never been one to bite her tongue, and during a new livestream, the "WAP" rapper opened up about the current state of politics in the United States.

As she continued, Cardi B detailed her displeasure with Trump's new immigration policies, which have seen more than two million undocumented people deported since January 2025, according to a DHS press release.

"Now, Donald Trump was blaming the immigrants for America's downfall," Cardi B said, later sharing that she "understand[s]" the current administration's desires to strengthen immigration laws in the United States.

"However, he was using that as an excuse for the issues that we have in this country, in this economy," Cardi B added. "Now, how many f-cking immigrants has he deported? He has deported so many people. So, now the immigrants are deported, who are we blaming for the fact that we are practically going into a recession? We don't even have food stamps!"

Cardi B's recent statements are not the first time the "UP" performer has been honest with her supporters about how rising costs in America have affected her and those in her inner circle.

According to a previous report from The Blast, Cardi B explained that she noticed the cost of living had skyrocketed when she began looking for an apartment in the Bronx for someone close to her.

During a previous livestream, she complained about "rent [being] so expensive ... in the most f-cking cheapest borough."

"I hate the fact that I know if you was to say something to the Trump administration about the cost of living right now, they’ll be like, 'Yeah, suck it up,'" she said. "You know what I don’t like? I don’t like that there’s a lot of single people, there’s a lot of students, there’s a lot of people that are working nine-to-five and because they’re working they don’t get no help from the government. I always hated that."

And Cardi B isn't the only public figure speaking out about the financial challenges many people across the United States are facing.

Senator Martin Heinrich from New Mexico released his own statement, commending Cardi B for speaking out and bringing attention to the sky-high prices nationwide.

"[Cardi B] is right," he wrote on social media. "And it's not just rent that's going up, costs are rising across the board. From your rent to your groceries to your utility bills to your health care premiums, this administration is making your life more expensive and Republicans in Congress aren't doing anything to stop them."

As Cardi B was wrapping up her thoughts in her most recent livestream, the rapper reminded her viewers that she believes regular, everyday citizens are low on Trump's priority list.

"[Trump] don’t f-cking like y’all," she said. "You’re poor, he don’t like you. If you poor, he don’t f-cking like you. He ain’t for you. … The economy is f-cked up in all types of way. When was the last time y’all seen celebrities happy and sh-t? Everybody’s going through it, b-tch. These companies they’re not giving money like they used to be."
