Sofia Richie Makes Pregnancy Meet Elegance On The Red Carpet With Her Husband

Sofia Richie is proving that flaunting a baby bump gracefully is not an activity reserved for Rihanna alone.

The media personality and her husband graced the Vogue World show about two weeks after announcing on her socials that she is expecting baby number two. Growing her family is not the only good news she basks in, as she recently launched a new fashion line.

Sofia Richie and her husband, Elliot Grainge, tied the knot in France back in 2023, two years after their relationship was confirmed. The pair welcomed their first child, Eloise, last year, and Sofia's pregnancy and postpartum were quite the struggle.

Richie, while attending the 2025  Vogue World show in Los Angeles on Sunday with her husband, confidently flaunted her growing baby bump. She was clad in a long, dark navy Tommy Hilfiger coat, not fully buttoned, with no top underneath.

She rocked a pair of light blue jeans, closed-toed black pumps, and a black clutch bag. She kept it simple with jewelry: a pair of small earrings and some bracelets. Her hair was pulled back into a chic updo, with a middle part, without any loose strands falling onto her face. 

Richie's makeup sealed the classic look with some mascara, A warm blush on her cheekbones, and a rosy pink matte tint on her lips for a finishing touch. Her husband was by her side, dressed in a dark navy suit, a black turtleneck, and black dress shoes.

Photos uploaded by The Daily Mail show the model posing for the cameras with a faint smile. Her poised stance, as her bump showed through her jacket, made a statement of beauty in motherhood.

Richie announced on social media that she is expecting her second child, posting a mirror selfie showing her growing bump.

She captioned the Instagram post referencing the launch of her new fashion line, SRG Atelier, which officially launched on October 16. Fans flooded the comments with excitement and well-wishes.

In May last year, she welcomed her first child, Eloise, whose birth day she described as the best day of her life. In a Vogue Beauty Secrets Clip, she shared that becoming a mother has made her more confident.

"I think having a daughter made me realize the importance of feeling confident without makeup," she said before adding that although Eloise is just a year old, she talks to her a lot.

The fashionista revealed to British Vogue late last year that being a mom would not alter her style. Also, she affirmed that she feels comfortable and confident in her sense of dressing.

The Blast reported that Richie explained that her pregnancy was smooth sailing until she reached the 32-week mark. She woke up tired with a backache and crampy, unbeknownst to her that she was in active labor.

She spent six weeks in the hospital being monitored closely on bed rest. The actress noted that during those six weeks, she kept having contractions till she was finally induced at 38 weeks. 

Her delivery, though described as fantastic, was not the end of her troubles, as she suffered postpartum preeclampsia. It is a rare condition that occurs when one has high blood pressure and excess protein in the urine soon after childbirth.

To get treatment, she had to leave her daughter for 24 hours, just two days after she was born. She noted that the period was horrendous and the hardest part of her life.

Richie opened up in a candid interview with Dr. Thais Aliabadi last October, revealing the struggles of her pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. She disclosed that she had symptoms such as exhaustion and swelling, and she was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia.

A few months after this revelation, Elliot was slammed on the internet with allegations that he cheated on his wife. Some fans even claimed that Richie was above his standards and that she should file for a divorce.

The couple cleared up the cheating rumors with a hilarious reaction, reading and laughing at fans' comments on the topic. 

The Blast reports that a few days later, the couple visited their wedding venue, the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes, France, along with their daughter, making extra special memories and proving that they were happy and the cheating rumors were no longer on their minds.

Two years ago, Richie teased the media about the launch of her fashion line. The sneak peek she shared, which featured a possible shoot for her merchandise, was well received.

Fans raved with excitement, asking for the collection to be available immediately. This year, she launched another new fashion line, called SRG Atelier. 

In previous years, the model recorded other successes through collaborations. She was involved in many campaigns as far back as 2021, including one for the denim brand "Rolla's." 

As reported by The Blast, Richie was not just about collaborations; she also launched a summer-themed accessory line in July of that same year.
