Britney Spears’ loved ones are said to be in crisis talks following her alarming behavior during a chaotic night out in California.

The pop star’s family, still haunted by memories of her 2007 breakdown, reportedly fears she’s “losing control” again after footage showed her stumbling outside a restaurant and driving erratically.

With tensions resurfacing around her past conservatorship, insiders say those closest to Spears are now debating how to step in before history repeats itself.

The troubling episode unfolded outside Red-O, an upscale restaurant in Thousand Oaks, where Spears was spotted looking unsteady on her feet.

Witnesses shared that the 43-year-old’s top slipped off her shoulders as she knocked over glasses and dropped items.

After reportedly ordering a quesadilla from the happy hour menu, the singer raised a toast to the entire restaurant before being guided outside by a female friend.

Despite concerns from those around her, including staff, Spears got behind the wheel of her black BMW.

Video footage shows her driving erratically, making abrupt U-turns, tailgating, and even crossing the double yellow line into the wrong lane, narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic.

The disturbing sight has reignited fears about her well-being, with sources close to the family saying they were “horrified” after seeing the video.

One insider even described it as “really, really hard to watch.”

According to multiple insiders, Britney Spears’ family has been quietly discussing how to intervene before things get worse.

“There’s a lot of concern,” a family source told the Daily Mail. “Everyone has always wanted the best for her, and she’s showing right now that she’s making bad choices. It’s terrifying.”

Although the “Toxic” crooner’s inner circle is keen on helping her, reports reveal that they are divided about how to approach the situation.

While some believe she should be placed back under a conservatorship, others worry that doing so could reignite old wounds.

“The last time [Spears’ father] Jamie stepped in to protect his daughter, he became public enemy number one,” said the source, referencing the backlash her father faced during her 13-year conservatorship, which ended in 2021.

The disturbing scenes outside Red-O have drawn comparisons to Spears’ dark period nearly two decades ago.

In 2007, the Princess of Pop’s mental health struggles became public after she shaved her head, lost custody of her two sons, and was twice hospitalized.

Her father, Jamie, took control under a conservatorship that lasted from 2008 until 2021.

Now, some of those close to her believe she may be heading down a similar path.

“She needs to go back under a conservatorship,” one family insider said bluntly. “This is exactly what we all saw 18 years ago. She needed help then, and she needs help now.”

Others in her family, however, remain conflicted.

“There’s nothing that can be done at this point,” another source said. “She has to figure this all out on her own. But I hope she knows there are many people who were once in her life who are worried about her, and care deeply for her well-being.”

Spears’ Family Shocked As Kevin Federline Speaks Out

The family crisis comes just as Britney Spears’ ex-husband, Kevin Federline, released his tell-all memoir “You Thought You Knew,” where he detailed incidents of the singer’s alleged erratic behavior around their sons.

Federline, who was married to Spears from 2004 to 2007, shared during an interview with Piers Morgan that their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, are keeping their distance.

“Britney saw one of my sons one day this year, and he decided not to go back over there because of what he saw,” he said. “The other one, Jayden, who’s my younger son, is 19 now — he’s been over there quite a few times over the past year, and he’s stopped seeing her in the last few months because of the situation.”

When asked to elaborate, Federline declined, saying, “That’s my sons’ story to tell.”

His comments have reportedly added to the family’s distress, though a representative for Spears has strongly denied the claims, accusing Federline of “gaslighting” and profiting from her name now that child support has ended.

Sources close to Spears admit that while they view Federline as an “opportunist,” they share his concern about her current state.

“He is absolutely right that the boys are reluctant to spend any significant time with her at the moment,” one insider revealed. “It’s just too volatile of a situation for them.”

According to the source, Spears’ sons are now old enough to make their own decisions but still need stability, something they don’t feel when visiting her home.

“The driving video is a good example of what we’re dealing with,” the family insider added. “People were there, begging her not to drive and she did anyway. If that’s not a metaphor, I don’t know what is.”
