Sophie Turner & Chris Martin Reportedly Move On From Exes With Secret Date

Sophie Turner and Chris Martin are moving forward, together!

The actress and the singer are allegedly now an item after splitting from their exes this year, as they went on a romantic date.

Sophie Turner became single again after divorcing her estranged husband, Joe Jonas, in September 2023, while Chris Martin and his ex, Dakota Johnson, ended their engagement in June.

The actress reportedly went on a secret date with the singer shortly after she ended her romance with Peregrine 'Perry' Pearson. Turner and Pearson finally parted ways last week after several episodes of breakups and makeups.

Things reportedly came tumbling down during a high-society wedding when they were spotted arguing on the dance floor. The actress did not wait for the steam to blow off before hopping into the dating pool with Martin the very next week.

Turner's ex did not waste any time moving on from the remnants of the relationship, as he was spotted getting it on with a blonde bombshell at a nightclub in London last week.

As confirmed by The Daily Mail, Martin had spent the summer in London, with a few shows at Wembley Stadium as part of Coldplay's "Music Of The Spheres Tour."

Turner and Pearson had gone through several rollercoasters of breakups before finally cutting the romantic ties. The Sun noted in September that during a brief break in their romance (as usual), the actress made the very bold move of signing up on a dating app.

Turner's profile reportedly popped up on Raya, and she proved she meant business by uploading nine pictures of herself holidaying and busting a move in the hotel room.

The 29-year-old identified her hobbies as listening to music, eating pasta, watching movies, soaking up the sun, and hanging out with family and friends.

Turner moved back to England last year after splitting from Jonas two years ago. She wasted no time in pursuing a relationship with Pearson a month after her divorce was finalized in September 2024.

Last August, sources close to the couple confirmed that they had drifted apart and ended their relationship after eight years together and an engagement. As shared by The Blast, the insider explained that the split was permanent, and that Martin, who was on tour at the time, also understood this.

The duo reportedly tried in vain for months to reach common ground regarding the romance, but their respect and love for each other necessitated the breakup.

Johnson and Martin separated over their hectic lifestyles and demanding work schedules, which they could not sacrifice or compromise. The source added:

"Chris has been in Europe with Coldplay, and they both have personal priorities, passions, and work commitments which don't naturally intertwine with each other."

Meanwhile, Martin and the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress had broken up in 2019 due to their different stances on having children, largely because Johnson was not ready for that level of commitment.

Turner was 13 when she made her epic debut on the HBO series, a move she is very specific her daughter will not make, especially in this age of toxic social media.

In an interview back in August, The Blast noted that Turner stressed how much she wanted her kids and every other budding child star to have a sense of normalcy in their childhood.

She sympathized with children who have broken into the limelight and advised them to carefully avoid getting exposed to social media. The actress encouraged kid actors to make friends, keep living at home with family, and make sure their parents guide them through everything.

"It's so important to have that grounding adjacent to the big, crazy stuff that you do," Turner added. The HBO star added a clause to her resolve that her girls may finally enter into the murky waters of Hollywood when they are "at least 25."

Turner's decision did not come from thin air. She detailed her experience on and off the set of "Game of Thrones," which was the hottest show on television at the time.

During the earlier seasons of the show, Turner explained that social media was also gaining traction, and she had to struggle to adjust to the harsh criticism that came with that kind of exposure.

Turner had to pay for it with her mental health, which took hits after hits and had her riddled with depression, anxiety, and an eating disorder. The actress credited therapy for saving her from the edge of destruction, as getting to talk about her mental health made everything feel a lot better.

Turner, as Sansa Stark in the iconic production, skyrocketed her career and reputation in Hollywood, earning her an Emmy nomination and multiple Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.
