Is Liam Payne Back With Cheryl Cole Less Than One Month After Maya Henry Split?

Liam Payne is a newly single man, and while he’s been keeping busy at the gym, in the studio and dabbling in the world of NFT’s, it appears he may have a new, or rekindled, romance brewing!

The former One Direction singer was recently engaged to model Maya Henry. The couple reportedly began dating in August 2019, according to The Sun, and when the world went into lockdown, they began quarantining together.

Cabin fever was at an all-time high and the two fell fast in love. Liam dropped to one knee and popped the question in August 2020.

Things seemed to be going great for the couple. Liam and Maya kept most of their relationship out of the headlines, because, well there was a pandemic and no one could really be out and about in public.

While this time at home allowed them to grow super close, it seemed their love wasn’t meant to last.

Liam revealed he was single during a guest appearance on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast earlier this month.

When asked what he meant about his comment, “my partner at the time during lockdown,” Liam responded, “I am, very much indeed (single).”

He continued, “I feel like more than anything at this point, I’m disappointed in myself for, to keep on hurting people.”

Now that he is single and (hopefully) done hurting people Liam is ready to love again. This time, it may come in the form of a past relationship!

Earlier this week, Liam was spotted with his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child, Cheryl Cole, for the first time since 2018.

However, the former couple being spotted out together may or may not come as a shock to his die-hard fans.

The singer has been very cordial with his ex, and it has been reported that Cheryl was a comfort and voice of reason to Liam during his romantic woes.

The two share a son, Bear, who was born in 2017.

Cheryl and Liam were romantically involved for two-and-a-half years from 2016 to 2018.

On Wednesday (UK time), the former lovers were together celebrating Liam’s neice’s birthday in his hometown of Wolverhampton. Their son Bear didn’t appear to be with them, according to The Daily Mail.

Paparazzi photographed the pair packing up their cars and chatting with Liam’s family in a driveway.

Liam and Cheryl reportedly left the party together, but it is unclear if anything more intimate is going on here.

The “Strip That Down” singer has gushed over Cheryl in the past saying she is the greatest person to co-parent with ever.

“Cheryl is literally the best person to co-parent with. No stress involved. It's very, very relaxed, and we spend a lot of time on FaceTime. And it's been really lovely, and I'm closer to them than I've ever been before, actually, which is really, really nice,” he said during an interview back in April.

I guess fans will have to wait and see if anything reignites between the used-to-be lovers!
