Amy Schumer has unveiled her slimmer figure after losing about 40lbs, crediting the weight-loss drug Mounjaro and hormone therapy for her transformation.
The comedian, who previously tried Wegovy and underwent liposuction, said the treatment also eased her perimenopause symptoms and boosted her energy and confidence.
Amy Schumer also recently discovered she had Cushing syndrome, caused by steroid injections, after online criticism of her swollen face prompted her to seek medical help.
Amy Schumer Has Lost 'At Least 40lbs,' Expert Reveals

Schumer flaunted her noticeably slimmer figure in a new Instagram selfie this week, capturing attention with her ongoing transformation.
As reported by The Blast, the "Trainwreck" star, 44, posed in a purple bra while snapping a mirror photo in her bathroom, revealing a visibly trimmer waistline.
Now, according to the Daily Mail, Schumer appears to have shed around 40lbs over the past few months. The comedian, who previously revealed that she weighed about 160lbs in 2015 and 170lbs in 2022, is now estimated to be near 130lbs, with a 28-inch waist.
Functional nutritionist Monica Partier told the news outlet that Schumer's progress is impressive, noting, "She seems to have dropped at least 40lbs and is around 130lbs now, which is very slender for a woman who is 5ft7in. And she looks a lot happier and proud of her improved wellbeing, which is nice to see."
Partier cautioned that maintaining weight loss requires commitment to a balanced, nutrient-rich diet, emphasizing lean proteins, fresh vegetables, and minimal processed foods.
The Actress Says Mounjaro And Hormone Therapy Transformed Her Health

Schumer has been transparent about her journey, revealing that she initially tried Ozempic but stopped after experiencing unpleasant side effects. She also underwent liposuction before finding what she calls the "right formula."
The "Snatched" actress is now using Mounjaro, a GLP-1 medication originally for type 2 diabetes that's frequently prescribed for weight management. Alongside the treatment, Schumer takes estrogen and progesterone to manage perimenopause symptoms.
"My symptoms of being in perimenopause have disappeared. My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy," Schumer shared in a March Instagram post. "I'm having a really good experience, so I wanted to keep it real with you about that."
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the "I Feel Pretty" star added candidly that nearly everyone in the entertainment industry is using some form of weight-loss medication.
Amy Schumer Says She Quit Wegovy After Severe Side Effects Before Finding Success With Mounjaro

In March, Schumer opened up about her positive experience with a new weight-loss medication after struggling with earlier treatments.
The comedian revealed on Instagram that she previously tried Wegovy three years ago but quit due to severe nausea and vomiting. "I couldn't handle it," she admitted.
Her decision to try Mounjaro came after a telehealth consultation with Midi Health, which she described as affordable and accessible.
"I wanted to try it myself 'cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers," she explained.
The clinic prescribed her estrogen and progesterone, which helped ease her perimenopause symptoms. "I realized I was in perimenopause, and my symptoms from being perimenopausal have disappeared."
The Actress Claims Her Energy, Confidence, And Sex Drive Have Benefited From The New Medication

Since beginning the new medication, Schumer said she's noticed significant changes in her energy, confidence, and even her sex drive.
"I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean," she joked. "I'm talking about sex. So that's been great and Mounjaro's been great."
Grateful for the results, Schumer revealed she decided to invest in Midi Health.
"I liked it so much and I had such a good experience that I invested in the company," the actress said.
Amy Schumer Says Online Trolls Helped Her Discover Cushing Syndrome Diagnosis

Meanwhile, Schumer shared she might never have discovered her Cushing syndrome diagnosis if not for online criticism about her appearance.
Speaking on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast in January, the "Unfrosted" actress recalled how the internet "really came for" her after she appeared with a swollen face.
Initially, she dismissed the comments, saying, "I was like, 'Okay, everybody, like, relax," but her perspective shifted when physicians began joining the conversation.
"Doctors were chiming in in the comments, and they were, like, 'No, no … something's really up. Your face looks so crazy,'" she shared, per People Magazine.
The "Expecting Amy" star later learned that the swelling was caused by steroid injections she had been receiving to treat scars from her breast reduction and Cesarean section.
She publicly revealed her diagnosis in February 2024, crediting the unexpected online scrutiny for prompting her to seek medical answers.
